Description
und 15.The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for avoidance
of condensation in printing machines according to the preamble of
The problem in printers and printing press test equipment is that especially in the case of high-speed printing presses for the protection of the Machine operators very important safety elements, such as hand protection bars, Finger protection spindles and other parts of the printing machine, condensation forms. Condensed water can e.g. B. on the surface of a protective shield in the form of Droplets occur that can collect in drops, which then either on the Surface of the material web to be printed or fall into the printing unit itself and Cause printing defects and other undesirable conditions. Condensation under the Material web can also cause printing defects, for example if there are droplets fall onto the surfaces of jack rollers or the like of a lower printing unit.
Even on printing unit components such as signs, rails and frame parts condensation forms in the form of droplets that fall on the web or on Components of the inking unit fall and thus pose a risk to the preservation of the Show print quality. For example, condensation on the surface of Printing unit rollers, especially on the rollers in the dampening system Printing machine, a harmful effect on the water / fountain solution in the Have offset printing process, d. H. that the dampening solution on a roller additional condensed water exceeds the absorption capacity of the pressure gap can, so that excess water accumulates in the pressure gap, which is an erratic Water supply and thus a reduction in print quality. Farther condensation water dripping onto the web can immediately cause print image errors and condensation on a roller, especially on dampening rollers, can Destabilize offset printing process.
It is an object of the present invention to detect defects on the one Printing machine to avoid coming printed material that comes on Condensation can be attributed. It is another job of the present invention, the ambient temperature of a selected range of a Keep the press constant to prevent condensation from forming.
This object is achieved by the features of
Further features of the invention are contained in the subclaims.
According to one embodiment of the present invention, this becomes undesirable Occurrence of condensed water in a selected area of the printing press, for example in the dampening system, influenced by the fact that the temperature of the Dampening system surrounding air by cooling and heating the air or by the Change in humidity in such a way that it is controlled Temperature difference between the components of the dampening system and the Ambient air assumes a predetermined set point, which essentially creates a isothermal state is created.
The present invention is more preferred in the following description Embodiments in connection with the accompanying, listed below Drawings explained in more detail.

Fig. 1 zeigt ein isothermes Feuchtwerksystem gemäß vorliegender Erfindung. In one conventional dampening system, as it is in US 5,592,880 and US 5,520,113 described, can be due to high relative humidity and a Temperature difference between the ambient air and the surface of a roller Collect dampening water in the form of condensed water. This Excess water in the dampening system caused by condensation can be the cause for an irregular supply of dampening solution to the printing plate.
In the isothermal dampening system according to the present invention, a
Even supply of dampening solution to the printing plate ensures that
e.g. B. the temperature of the rollers of the dampening system, the temperature of the dampening solution and
the temperature of the air in the area of the dampening system by a shown in Fig. 1
For example, slightly lower or slightly higher air temperatures as the temperature of the dampening solution and / or the dampening roller from the system as be considered admissible, d. H. that a small amount of condensation or Evaporation that does not cause printing problems is accepted. Thus, for air temperatures that are slightly lower than the temperature of the Fountain solution and the surface of the dampening roller are low and acceptable level of dampening solution evaporation into the air. In the same This can be done at air temperatures that are slightly above the temperature of the dampening solution and the surface of the dampening roller, a low and acceptable amount of condensation appear on the roller surface. With the maintenance of Temperatures in such a predetermined acceptance range will therefore be a consistent and uniform supply of dampening solution to the printing plate.
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
A dampening solution
A roll cooling water
An air
The
Temperatur basiert.T REF, a reference temperature is for the inventive
For example, the control signal may be the value of T REF which, when received from a particular component, causes the components to be appropriately cooled or heated to maintain the value of T REF . For example, it can be provided that all components, ie the air
Umgebungslufttemperatur TA bestimmt. In Schritt 210 wird die Temperatur des
Feuchtmittels TF bestimmt. In den Schritten 220 und 230 wird jeweils die
Auslaßtemperatur und die Einlaßtemperatur des Walzenkühlwassers bestimmt. In
isothermer Zustand für das Feuchtwerk 105 erzeugt bzw. aufrechterhalten wird.FIG. 2 shows an exemplary method for creating an isothermal state according to the present invention. For example, the ambient air temperature T A is determined in a
In
Accordingly, this causes the
As mentioned above, air temperatures result slightly above the temperature of the air Dampening solution, or below the surface temperature of the dampening roller, one low and acceptable amount of evaporated dampening solution, or Condensation on the roller surfaces. Because the respective Temperature of the dampening solution, the dampening roller cooling water and the ambient air (in Dampening unit 105) measured according to the invention and the air and Component temperatures e.g. B. by cooling or heating the air or Liquids are changed in the system according to the present invention, the Temperature difference between the components of the isothermal dampening system and of the surrounding air kept to a minimum. Furthermore, the fact that the temperatures of Components of the dampening system within an acceptable and preferably for each single component alone, or selectable for all components together The differential range also keeps the condensation in the system be limited to a minimum, so that a trouble-free supply of Fountain solution to the printing plate is guaranteed.
