Definitions

  • the invention relates to the technical field of sanitary installations in automatic cleaning and, more particularly, in toilets or toilets for public or collective use.
  • toilet facilities including a sanitary room accessible to users or to the public and inside which is arranged a toilet bowl, called "English".
  • the sanitary room is adjoining a technical room with controlled access enclosing various means allowing ensure automatic cleaning of the bowl and the sanitary room after passage of a user.
  • the prior art has proposed various automatic cleaning devices which it It is in particular possible to distinguish according to whether the bowl is fixed or mobile.
  • patent application EP 0 059 134 according to which the fixed bowl is arranged inside a sanitary room and leaned against a partition separating the sanitary room a technical room.
  • This partition has, near the seat of the bowl, a window closed by an independent movable panel, controlled in opening and closing.
  • the installation includes, inside the technical room, a flushing system and, opposite said window, an extendable device for automatic cleaning of the seat and the front of the bowl.
  • This device is formed by a pair of double-acting hydraulic cylinders, oriented in a horizontal direction and at the end of which is fixed a second pair of cylinders directed vertically towards the ground.
  • the second pair of cylinders carries, at its end, a rotating brush.
  • the control ensures a bowl cleaning cycle.
  • the panel is raised in order to free the passage for the cleaning device which is brought into extension for bring the rotary brush in contact successively with the seat and the front of the bowl. After this cleaning cycle, the device is brought back to the technical room and the panel closed.
  • the invention relates, more particularly, to this second category of installations.
  • toilet facilities comprising movable bowls and a fixed automatic cleaning device.
  • a partition separating the technical and sanitary premises and comprising, at its base, a panel movable around a vertical axis.
  • On either side of this panel are suspended two identical bowls connected to a single drainage pipe forming one of the pivots of the panel.
  • the panel pivots by a half-turn reversing the positions of the bowl used and that previously cleaned, previously located in the technical room.
  • the bowl used is thus placed inside the technical room under a fixed device which ensures automatic cleaning.
  • This device is entirely satisfactory for the alternating cleaning of bowls, but has major drawbacks due to its structure.
  • a such a design doubles the number of bowls, imposes a servo mechanism of the panel and therefore creates a high manufacturing price.
  • the existence of a joint pivoting at the base of the panel is a source of malfunction due to stresses resulting from the overhang generated by the use of the bowl located in the sanitary room.
  • the rotation of the bowls requires a certain free space which is at the origin of the large size of such an installation.
  • An object of the invention is to obviate the drawbacks of the installations above by proposing a toilet facility which presents, on the one hand, a cost reduced manufacturing and, on the other hand, a guarantee of hygiene and reliability of operation ensuring a low operating cost.

  • the control unit 20 then triggers a seat cleaning cycle 7 .
  • This cycle comprises two distinct phases, a first of spraying of sanitizing liquid and a second of drying.
  • the reservoir 27 has a sufficient capacity to allow several user passages and several cleaning cycles without requiring refilling.
  • the unit 20 controls the operation of the booster 39 and the opening of the solenoid valve 42 to supply the projection means 36 .
  • Lateral nozzles of the rotary system then ensure a projection of liquid under pressure towards the seat 7 and sweep all of them by their rotation, while nozzles directed downwards project the liquid under pressure towards the internal walls of the bowl 6 , so that any stains adhering to it are removed.
  • this sweeping ensures disinfection of the seat 7 and the interior of the bowl 6, as well as the elimination of any stains by the displacement of water fronts generated by the nozzles. rotatable.
  • the unit 20 After spraying the bowl 6, the unit 20 starts the operation of the source of forced air 44 to supply the drying means 37.
  • the casing 45 and the deflector 46 are designed so that the outlet section of the nozzle has a plan shape substantially similar to that of the seat 7 and is located just above the latter, so that the air flow, channeled by the nozzle, there preferentially finds direction.
  • the air flow, channeled simultaneously over substantially the entire surface of the seat avoids the accumulation of water there and ensures effective drying.
  • the unit 20 then interrupts the operation of the source of forced air 44 and controls the outlet of the bowl 6 in the extended position B to place the installation 1 in a position for welcoming a new user.
  • the method according to the invention ensures complete and effective cleaning of the bowl without soiling the sanitary room.

  • the shutter element 50 may, for example, be constituted by a rolling shutter stored on a motorized drum 51 connected by a line 52 to the unit 20.
  • the unit 20 then ensures the closing of the closure element 50 after retraction of the bowl 6 in position B.
  • the technical room 4 is isolated from the sanitary room 2 and no projection of the cleaning liquid can intervene there.
  • the unit 20 controls the opening of the closure element 50, then the exit from the bowl 6.
  • the sanitary room 2 is equipped with a spraying boom 54 directed towards the ground 55 and connected to the source of pressurized liquid 39 by a pipe 56 controlled by a solenoid valve 57 which is connected by a line 58 at control unit 20 .
  • This ramp 54 for spraying the floor 55 of the sanitary room is activated by the unit 20 after the user exits.
  • the water flowing on the ground 55 is recovered by evacuation means 59 arranged, for example, along the lower part of the partition 5 .
  • the latter can also be equipped with a spraying boom 60 connected to the source of pressurized liquid 39 by a pipe 61 controlled by a solenoid valve 62.
  • the control unit 20 controls the solenoid valve 62, so as to spray the lower part of the partition 5 located in the sanitary room 2 by ramp 60 .
  • the unit 20 can also simultaneously control the operation of the ramp 54 in the direction of the floor 55. Then, the unit 20 interrupts the spraying of the partition and the floor 55 and controls, for example, the operation of drying means 65 sanitary room, such as a fan directing pulsed air towards the floor 55 and the lower part of the partition 5.
