Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines luftspaltisolierten Abgaskrümmers einer Abgasanlage eines Fahrzeuges. Um in einfacher Weise eine prozeßsichere und exakt reproduzierende Herstellung von bauraumsparenden luftspaltisolierten Abgaskrümmern zu erreichen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß der Abgaskrümmer aus mehreren luftspaltisolierten Abgasrohren sowie den zugehörigen Eingangsflanschen und dem Ausgangsflansch zusammengefügt wird, welche mittels des Innenhochdruck-Umformverfahrens aus jeweils einem Doppelrohr luftspaltisoliert ausgeformt werden, daß die miteinander zu verbindenden Enden der luftspaltisolierten Abgasrohre zuerst unter Öffnung des jeweiligen Luftisolierspaltes beschnitten und dann ineinandergesteckt werden, wobei die Enden so ausgeformt sind, daß die Steckverbindungen der Außenrohre und der Innenrohre der zu verbindenden Abgasrohre mit Spiel erfolgen, daß die miteinander verbundenen Außenrohrenenden der Abgasrohre an der Stelle ihrer Steckverbindung unter Bildung einer Rundnaht miteinander verschweißt werden, und daß die verbindungsfreien an den Zylinderkopf anzuschließenden Enden der Abgasrohre mit den jeweils zugehörigen Eingangsflanschen zusammengesteckt und verschweißt werden und das verbindungsfreie zylinderkopfabgewandte Ende des letzten der in der Reihe nebeneinander angeordneten verzweigten Abgasrohre mit dem Ausgangsflansch zusammengesteckt und mit diesem verschweißt wird. The invention relates to a method for producing an air gap-insulated exhaust manifold of an exhaust system of a vehicle. In order to achieve a process-reliable and exactly reproducing production of space-saving air gap insulated exhaust manifolds in a simple manner, it is proposed that the exhaust manifold is assembled from a plurality of air gap insulated exhaust pipes and the associated input flanges and the output flange, which are formed by means of the hydroforming process from each double tube air gap isolated in that the ends of the air gap-insulated exhaust pipes to be joined together are first cut open at the opening of the respective Luftisolierspaltes and then inserted into each other, wherein the ends are formed so that the connections of the outer tubes and the inner tubes of the exhaust pipes to be connected with play done that the interconnected outer tube ends the exhaust pipes are welded together at the location of their connector to form a circumferential seam, and that the connection-free connected to the cylinder head ends of the exhaust pipes with the respective associated input flanges are plugged together and welded and the connection-free end remote from the cylinder head of the last of the series juxtaposed branched exhaust pipes is plugged together with the output flange and welded thereto.
