Claims (8)
- A straw for the conservation of small quantities of biological substances consisting of a segment of tube (2) having inside one end an insert (3) with a substantially coaxial orifice (4) through it, characterized in that a stopper (5) is housed in said insert.
- A straw according to claim 1 characterized in that the insert is made from a material chosen from elastomer materials, thermoplastics materials and thermoplastics elastomer materials.
- A straw according to claim 1 characterized in that the insert is made from a material chosen from the metals.
- A straw according to claim 2 characterized in that the insert is colored.
- A straw according to any of claims 1 to 4 characterized in that, in a manner that is known in the art, said stopper comprises a powder able to be transformed on contact with a liquid into an impermeable gel or paste.
- A straw according to claim 5 characterized in that the stopper is a three-part stopper.
- A straw according to claim 6 characterized in that, in a manner that is known in the art, said stopper includes two fibrous substance plugs with said powder between them.
- A straw according to any of claims 1 to 4 characterized in that the stopper is in one piece.
