Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Arbeitsverfahren zur Verringern der Wanddicke am Endes eines in ein Schrägwalzwerk einzuführenden Hohlblockes, zwecks Vermeiden von Rohraufweitungen an den Enden der schräggewalzten, insbesondere dünnwandigen Rohre. Dabei wird die Verringerung der Wanddicke des Hohlblockendes auf eine im wesentlichen dem schräggewalzten Rohr entsprechende Wanddicke in einer dem Schrägwalzwerk nebengeordneten Einrichtung vor dem Einlegen des Hohlblockes in das Schrägwalzwerk vorgenommen. The invention relates to a working method for reducing the wall thickness at the end of a hollow block to be introduced into a cross-rolling mill, in order to avoid pipe widening at the ends of the cross-rolled, in particular thin-walled pipes. The reduction in the wall thickness of the hollow block end to a wall thickness substantially corresponding to the diagonally rolled tube is carried out in a device adjacent to the cross rolling mill before the hollow block is inserted into the cross rolling mill.
