Abstract

Wire coils (2) laid onto a conveyer (5) are positionally controlled relative to the center line (10) of the conveyor track. The apparatus includes a coil layer (1), a sensor (7) to establish the position of the coils on the conveyor track, an adjuster mechanism (1, 3, 6) for influencing the position of the coils on the conveyor track, and a control unit (8) which governs the action of the adjuster mechanism (1, 3, 6).
