Description

The invention relates to a method for producing an electric light bulb according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
I. Stand der TechnikI. State of the art
Such a manufacturing method is disclosed, for example, in German patent DE 2243 717. This patent describes a two-filament halogen incandescent lamp with a dimming cap and an incandescent filament arranged in the dimming cap. The anti-glare cap has a welding tab with a cross rib. The filament ends are each wrapped in a metal foil. The filament is fixed to the anti-glare cap here by one of the filament ends enclosed by the metal foil being fixed to the cross rib by spot welding.
II. Darstellung der ErfindungII. Presentation of the invention
It is the object of the invention to provide a method for producing an electric incandescent lamp equipped with a dimming cap and at least one incandescent filament, which enables a filament end to be more easily attached to the dimming cap.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1. Particularly advantageous embodiments of the invention are described in the subclaims. The manufacturing method according to the invention for an electric incandescent lamp provided with at least one filament and a dimming cap is characterized in that it has the following manufacturing steps:
- Bereitstellen einer Abblendkappe, deren Rand mit einer Kerbe versehen ist,Provision of a dimming cap, the edge of which is provided with a notch,
- Bereitstellen einer Glühwendel,- providing a filament,
- Einfädeln eines Glühwendelendes in die Kerbe- Threading a filament end into the notch
- Verschmelzen der Abblendkappe mit dem in der Kerbe angeordneten Glühwendelende, indem das Material der Abblendkappe im Bereich der Kerbe zum Schmelzen gebracht wird, so daß die Schmelze das in der Kerbe angeordnete Glühwendelende benetzt und das Glühwendelende nach dem Erstarren der Schmelze in dem wieder erstarrten Material der Abblendkappe eingebettet ist.- Melting the anti-dazzle device with the filament end arranged in the notch, by melting the material of the dimming cap in the area of the notch, so that the melt wets the filament end arranged in the notch and the end of the filament after the melt solidifies in the re-solidified material the anti-dazzle device is embedded.
In comparison to the prior art, the manufacturing method according to the invention enables a glow filament end to be more easily attached to the anti-dazzle device, because at least one of the metal foils surrounding the filament ends can now be saved. The fusion of the filament end according to the invention in a notch at the edge of the anti-dazzle device can be carried out both for uncoiled and for coiled filament ends. In order to fuse the anti-dazzle device with the glow filament end threaded into the notch on the anti-dazzle device edge, the material of the anti-dazzle device is advantageously melted on both sides of the notch. This ensures complete embedding of the filament end in the re-solidified melt of the anti-glare cap. The anti-dazzle device is advantageously formed from a metal sheet so that it can serve as an electrical power supply for the filament connected to the anti-dazzle device. Advantageously, the notch on the edge of the anti-dazzle device is made by two adjacent, protrusions formed by the anti-dazzle device which have a V-shaped or U-shaped space. These two exposed protrusions can be heated and melted with comparatively little energy using a LASER. The production method according to the invention is particularly suitable for the production of two-filament halogen incandescent lamps which are used as light sources in motor vehicle headlights.

The manufacturing method according to the invention will be explained below with the aid of a two-filament halogen incandescent lamp, a so-called H4 lamp. The structure of the H4 lamp is shown schematically in FIG. 3. The two-filament halogen incandescent lamp shown in FIG. 3 has a lamp bulb 1 made of tempered glass that is squeezed tightly on one side. The QLietsch seal 10 of the lamp bulb 1 is fixed in a cup-like holder part 2 made of stainless steel. The holder part 2 forms together with the base sleeve 3 and the adjustment plate 4 formed thereon and with the base stone 5 the lamp base. The holder part 2 is welded to the adjustment plate 4 by means of welding lugs 13 punched out of the adjustment plate 4 and bent upwards. Within the lamp bulb 1 there are two incandescent filaments 6, 7, each of which is electrically conductively connected to a contact tab 9 via a total of three current leads 8 protruding from the pinch seal 10 and fused between two quartz beams 11. One of the filaments 6 is provided with a dimming cap 12.
In order to manufacture the filament holder of an H4 lamp according to the manufacturing method according to the invention, a trough-like anti-dazzle device 20 is provided which is prefabricated from a metal sheet, preferably molybdenum sheet (FIG. 2). This anti-dazzle device 20 has at its edge two adjacent, tooth-like protruding projections 21, 22, which together form an intermediate space designed as a V-shaped or U-shaped notch 23. The anti-dazzle device 20 also has a welding lug 25 provided with a transverse rib 24. The bottom of the anti-dazzle device 20 is equipped with two humps 27. Furthermore, two prefabricated incandescent filaments 30, 31 and three molybdenum lead wires 33, 34, 35 fixed between two quartz bars 32 are provided for the production method according to the invention. To fix the anti-dazzle device 20, the power supply wire 35 is welded on the outside of the anti-dazzle device 20 to the two bosses 27 arranged in the bottom 26 of the anti-dazzle device 20.
The ends 30a, 30b of the low-beam filament 30 are each wrapped with a molybdenum foil 36 and spot-welded to the transverse rib 24 on the welding flag 25 of the anti-glare cap 20 or to one end of the power supply wire 33, so that the glow filament 30 is arranged in the anti-glare cap 20 . To fix the high-beam filament 31 arranged below the anti-dazzle device 20, one end 31a of the high-beam filament 31 is inserted into the notch 23 formed by the tooth-like projections 21, 22 and then the two projections 21, 22 are each simultaneously heated and melted with the aid of a LASER beam acting briefly on the two projections 21, 22, so that the helix 31a is wetted by the melt and is completely enclosed. After the melt solidifies, the end 31a of the high-beam filament 31 is completely embedded in the solidified material 20a of the anti-dazzle device 20. The re-solidified material 20a then forms the shading nose 20a of the anti-dazzle device 20. The other end 31b of the high-beam filament 31 is wrapped with a molybdenum foil 36 and spot-welded to the power supply wire 34. The resulting incandescent filament frame with anti-dazzle device is shown in FIG. 1. This complete helical frame is introduced and assembled in the prefabricated lamp bulb 1 in a known manner. The closing of the lamp bulb 1 by means of the pinch seal 10 and the base of the lamp are also state of the art and will therefore not be described further here.
The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiment explained in more detail. For example, the filament end 30a of the low beam filament 30 welded to the transverse rib 24 can also be fused to the edge of the dimming cap 20 in the same way as the end 31a of the high beam filament 31. In addition, the application of the fusion of the filament end and anti-dazzle cap according to the invention is not restricted to two-filament halogen incandescent lamps.
