Abstract

Hand- und Faustfeuerwaffen, insbesondere Schnellfeuergewehre, Maschinengewehre, Maschinenpistolen und auch automatisch nachladende Pistolen haben den Nachteil, daß sich nach jedem Schuß der Lauf vorne anhebt und die Folgeschüsse dadurch zunehmend ungenauer werden. Dieser Nachteil kann dadurch beseitigt werden, daß unterhalb des Bereichs vor der Mündung die Ausdehnung der Verbrennungsgase nach unten durch eine Sperrfläche, die sich im Abstand von mindestens einem Geschoßdurchmesser von der Geschoßflugbahn befindet und eine Länge von mindestens dem 5-fachen des Geschoßdurchmessers aufweist, verhindert oder daß durch im Bereich vor der Mündung befindliche schräg oder senkrecht angebrachte Prallflächen mit Geschoßdurchgangsöffnung und links und rechts angebrachten seitlichen Leitblechen die Verbrennungsgase teilweise nach oben geleitet werden. Bei der letztgenannten Ausführungsart wird weiter der Rückschlag so stark vermindert, daß er fast nicht mehr zu bemerken ist. Weiter kann so über die Verhinderung des Hochschlags hinaus ein Druck auf den Lauf nach unten erreicht werden, was bei Maschinengewehren mit Zweibein-Stützen und bei Kanonen mit Lafetten vorteilhaft ist.
