Claims (9)

  1. A container, in whose opening is arranged a pump device for delivering a liquid container content, whereby closely engaging the inner wall of the opening (2) of the container there is a substantially tubular insert (3), which has a base (5), which is closed in an initial state, whereby before putting the pump device (6) into operation, by advancing a front suction section of the pump device (6), which engages in the insert (3) and whose peripheral wall (27) closely engages the inner wall of the insert (3), the base is opened by direct contact with the suction section, characterised in that located within the insert (3) above its base (5) there is a receiving chamber (15) for an active substance, which is separated from the liquid container contents before the opening of the base and enters into it after the opening process.
  2. A container with a pump device as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that the base (5) of the insert (3) has a peripheral groove (30).
  3. A container with a pump device as claimed in Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the peripheral wall (27) of the end section of the pump device (6) has a tubular projection (28), which is aligned with the groove (30) in the base (5) and is obliquely cut away.
  4. A container with a pump device as claimed in one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that, on its outer surface, the container (1) has an additional peripheral wall (16), which is part of an external cap (16), which surrounds at least the lower region of the container (1) and that a housing portion (23) of the pump device (6) is in axially movable engagement with the peripheral wall (16).
  5. A container with a pump device as claimed in Claim 4, characterised in that the external cap (16) has, on its upper edge, an outwardly projecting annular shoulder (18) and the housing portion (23) has, on its lower edge, an inwardly projecting annular shoulder (25).
  6. A container with a pump device as claimed in Claim 5, characterised in that the annular shoulder (18) on the external cap (16) or the annular shoulder (25) on the housing portion (23) has a small radial oversize so that it engages the wall of the housing portion (23) or the external cap (16) under a preload, whereby the latter has a peripheral groove (27), axially spaced from its annular shoulder, for engaging the other annular shoulder.
  7. A container with a pump device as claimed in one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the container (1) is arranged in an external cap (31), which is provided with a screwthread (34) and with which a housing portion (35) of the pump device (6) is in threaded engagement.
  8. A container with a pump device as claimed in Claim 7, characterised in that the screwthread (33, 34) on the external cap (31) and the housing (35) is self-locking in the screwed-in end position.
  9. A container with a pump device as claimed in Claim 7 or 8, characterised in that the container (1) is rotationally fixedly situated in the external cap (31).
