Definitions
- the present invention relates to a parasol foldable portable, protecting from the sun's rays an automatic opening system and a fixing to the ground.
- a parasol classic type is formed by a mast with one end is pointed, while the other end forms a end piece on which a plurality of radial whales moving in the axial planes and on which is fixed, usually by sewing, the umbrella canvas.
- a parasol type classic involves a multiplicity of components that require one hand to assemble of relatively large work, that it is of a weight and of a size such that it is difficult transportable and can be dangerous in case of large wind, because no suitable ground fastening is planned in its design.
- the invention particularly aims to remove the disadvantages of the classic parasol. She therefore offers a parasol whose design is extremely simple, both in its manufacture and in its use and its transport, authorizes use individual and also offers better security in case of strong wind.
- the flexible structure is made of spring metal.
- the flexible structure is housed in an elastic fabric sheath sewn canvas circumference.
- the flexible structure is a deformable disc which can transform into a minimum of geometric figures, a first deployed figure to position the parasol, and a second folded figure allowing carrying the umbrella and being obtained by twisting manual on itself in order to obtain several overlapping shapes.
- each shape has a diameter equal to a third of the initial diameter of the flexible structure.
- the cord is preferably provided with three rings used to hold the parasol in position of use by triangulation.
- the transport bag has a corresponding shape to the folded geometric figure of the parasol for allow its folded transport, as well as that of stakes.
- the transport bag preferably has a fabric loop for carrying the bag in backpack position by detaching a clip fast and passing a ramp through the loop to form the two straps of a backpack.
- the stakes preferably have a shaped head three alternating right angles to facilitate their anchoring in the ground.
- the fabric disc 1 is in Nylon, of variable diameter, with, sewn to its circumference, an elastic fabric sheath 2 covering the flexible structure constituted by the spring steel hoop of rectangular section, held in a circle by two aluminum rivets 4 (figure 3).
- a braided nylon cord 5 is therefore sewn on the cloth disk 1 at two points close to the circumference of the latter ( Figure 1).
- the distance between these two points is equivalent to the distance between the two angles of a triangle equilateral contained in the diameter of the tissue disc 1.
- the length of the cord 5 between the two points of sewing equivalent to twice the diameter of the disc fabric 1.
- cord 5 is made of a loop held by a metal ring 7 and a ring in metal 8 serving as an anchor for the cloth disc 1 in the ground ( Figure 2).
- Two other loops, dots anchor of the cloth disc 1 in the ground, located at each end of the cord 5 make it possible to form a tension system by triangulation.
- the distance between a bead stitch and one end of the cord is the size of the cloth disc radius 1.
- a metal eyelet 9 ( Figure 1) piercing the cloth near the circumference of the cloth disc 1 is located at a distance equal to the two stitches of the cord 5.
- the transport bag 10 is preferably made of nylon fabric, round in shape and diameter equivalent to one third of the diameter of the cloth disc 1.
- This bag 10 is composed on the front side of four open pockets 11 used to hold the stakes aluminum 3, as well as two pockets 12, 13 to zipper 14 used to hold objects miscellaneous ( Figure 4).
- a central pocket 16 with closure zipper 17 is sewn on the circumference of the bag transport 10 and used to hold the cloth disc 1 in folded position.
- a braided nylon strap 18 on which is sewn a plastic quick coupler 19 is sewn on the circumference of the transport bag 10 in two diametrically opposite points (figure 5). We can adjust its length using the quick coupler.
- a nylon loop braided 20 serving as a loop to transport the bag transport 10 in backpack position, this by removing the quick coupler 19 and passing the strap 18 through the loop 20 in order to form the two straps of the backpack ( Figure 6).
- the loop 20 is located equidistant from the seams of the shoulder strap and close to the zipper of the central pocket.
- the four fixing posts 3 are formed in an aluminum bar of two lengths different in order to adapt to the dimensions of the bag transport 10.
- the head of each stake 3 is folded to form three angles of 90 ° each, resembling a step, allowing to stake stake 3 in the ground without using any tools and preventing loops from slide out of the stake.
- the end opposite the head is rounded.
- the metal hoop constituting the flexible structure 6 other materials than metal can be used such as plastic slightly reduced and flexible section.
- the main characteristic, as specified in the patent application EP-0 527 478 or US 4 312 371, is that this structure flexible 6, such as a metal hoop, has a stable deployed position, i.e. open, ready for use as a parasol. Folding is done by a twist at two diametrically opposite places on the metal hoop. The latter veils and tends to form three loops that build up as you go measure that unsupported parts of the hoop metallic approach. At the end of folding, the three circles formed by the metal hoop are nested or laid against each other and the whole can therefore be placed in the transport bag 10 shown in Figure 4.
- the stable deployed position of the structure flexible 6 of course facilitates deployment canvas 1 automatically, when it is out transport bag 10.
- the shape of the flexible structure 6 is not a circle but, by example, an ovoid shape, even a shape approximating a square or a rectangle, the constraint essential being that the deformable structure is actually deformable. Indeed, it is possible to provide one or more corners on this structure deformable 6 if this does not hamper the phenomenon of folding. A corner or a protuberance on the structure deformable could be an anchor for the parasol in the ground.
