Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for the contactless separation of two Spaces from each other by means of air curtains, which in the following also serve as passage or Gate air curtain system should be called. Air curtains have been around Known for decades and are often used for the contactless sealing of the Access doors to e.g. B. department stores used. They generally consist of one flat jet flow, which results from a suitable flow guidance above the Door opening emerges. The properties of jet flows are described in the relevant Textbooks of fluid mechanics treated. An effective separation two rooms - e.g. B. a department store interior from the atmosphere - arises when air of the core area of the air jet on that of the blow-out plane opposite side (bottom) hits. The length of the core area is each after turbulence of the outflowing air four to six times the beam exit width. With conventional air curtain systems, in order to avoid high pressure losses the air emerging from the flow is comparatively turbulent is, the beam width should be chosen so that it is about 1/4 of the to be sealed Opening corresponds. This leads to very large jet widths with very large opening heights, e.g. B. very high gate openings.
If the temperatures in those to be separated from each other by means of air curtains Rooms are large, air curtain systems have proven to be advantageous the jet flow is composed of two partial jets. Such systems are, for example in the patents US 3211078 and US 3229609. At In these systems, the air curtain consists of two flat partial beams, which consist of a flow guide emerge above the door opening, which in the exit plane is divided in the longitudinal axis. In doing so, the one facing the respective area Jet supplied with air from this area. A touch of the two air flows with different temperature occurs only in the area of the parting line between the two partial beams. Air comes out of the partial jets at the same speed , there is only a slight mixing of the two partial beams. The jet of air hitting the ground again divides approximately along its parting plane and flows into the respective area. Because of the Mixing the two partial beams along their parting plane is the core length of one such air jet consisting of at least two partial jets less than that Core length of a simple air jet. For the safe separation of different Areas of each other is the optimal beam width of the entire beam, consisting of z. B. two partial beams, about 1/3 the height of the to be sealed Opening.
Applying the air curtain systems described above for non-contact sealing very high door or gate openings, so there is an essential one Disadvantage due to the large width of the air outlet level. For example, if you go from a gate height H = 6 m, the required width would be Air outlet level (= jet width) s = 6/3 = 2 m. Linked to this big one Jet width is a large air volume flow and therefore a large required drive power for the fans used.
The invention has for its object a device for non-contact To create two rooms that are separated by a very high door or Gate opening are interconnected. On the one hand, the performance of the Air curtain system and secondly the mixing of possibly under differently conditioned air of the two rooms can be minimized.
This object is achieved by the characterizing part of the
The features of the subclaims provide expedient embodiments Are defined.
The advantages achieved with the invention are based on the formation of an air curtain, that separates the opening between two rooms without contact so that the jet width is as small as possible and that the air exchange between the atmospheres of the two rooms is minimized. This is the first time Non-contact separation of two rooms possible with low energy consumption, because the separation effect is not based on the volume flow of the air curtain, but on fluidic conditions.

- a second embodiment of a door air curtain system, in which one side of the opening to be sealed is directly delimited by a wall running perpendicular to the sealing plane.
The one shown in Figure 1, generally by the reference numerals (3), (4a) and (4b) indicated flow guides generate an air flow (1) which is parallel to the sealing level (2) and perpendicular or approximately perpendicular to the upper one Boundary in accordance with the flow guide (3) and vertically or approximately perpendicular to the side edges according to the flow guides (4a) and (4b) emerges.

For the situation shown in FIG. 3 there is the opening (2) to be sealed.

There is thus a region of at least one of the lateral edges of the Passage also used as a flow guide. The one used is preferably sufficient Area to the ground. At least one complete is particularly preferred Side area and the entire overhead area used as flow guidance. Although the side edges are preferably perpendicular to the blow-out direction run, it is also a preferred embodiment if an air flow blown out with a horizontal component at an angle to the edge at which it emerges becomes.
