Der Ölkühler 4 wird vom einen Gehäuse 6 vollständig umschlossen. Der
Ölfilter 3 und das Entlüftungssystem 5 mit Ölabscheider sind unmittelbar an das
Gehäuse 6 angebaut, so daß sich eine bauliche Einheit ergibt, die als Ganzes an die
Brennkraftmaschine, beispielsweise seitlich an das Kurbelgehäuse 2 der Brennkraftmaschine
angeflanscht werden kann.Fig. 1 shows an

8 und am gegenüberliegenden Ende mit einem Kühlwasseraustritt 9, sowie einem Ölübertritt
10 zum Ölfilter 3 versehen. Das Kühlwasser umströmt also den Ölkühler 4 auf
ganzer Länge und nimmt dabei die Wärme des Schmieröls auf. Das Öl durchströmt
den Ölfilter 3 und gelangt über einen Ölrücklaufkanal 11 zu den Schmierstellen. The

seitlich an das Kurbelgehäuse 2 der Brennkraftmaschine angeflanscht werden kann.
Über den Kühlwassereintritt 7 wird Kühlwasser zugeführt, welches den Ölkühler 4
vollständig umströmt. Der Kühlwasseraustritt 9 ist auch aus Fig. 1 zu ersehen. Das im
Entlüftungssystem 5 mit Ölabscheider abgeschiedene Öl wird über den Ölrücklaufkanal
