Description
The invention relates to a method for producing Bristle material for bristle products with various types Plastic bristles that are extruded as continuous monofilaments be generated.
In the present context, bristle goods are understood all products where more than one type of Bristles for brushes, brooms, scrubbers, brushes, brush tapes, Mats with bristle trim etc. can be processed. Bristle material is any composition of Bristles of finite length understood that either immediately or after further cutting to the bristle goods is processed.
FR-A- 1134245). Most of the bristle goods are bristle trimmings forming bristles uniform among themselves, so exist made of the same material and have the same geometric Dimensions on. Occasionally there are differences in the length. But there are also bristle products known which the bristle trim from individual bristle bundles or also bristle packs with different types of bristles in the Bundle or package exists (see FR-A-1134245). The diversity lies especially in the bristle diameter or in the bristle material. First and foremost, optical effects, but also the different properties of the bristles be used in order to use different types of bristle goods Produce effects. Are best known Mixtures of natural bristles and plastic bristles, whereby through the mixture primarily the expensive natural fibers to be partially replaced without sacrificing the beneficial To have to do without the properties of natural bosters. Mixtures of this type are known in particular with brushes and brooms.
Plastic bristles are made from endlessly extruded monofilaments prepared (cf. generic EP-A-0 086 412). The monofilaments are made after extrusion spooled. Before winding or as part of another As a rule, the monofilaments are stretched, to give them the desired bending behavior to lend. The molecular longitudinal orientation achieved during stretching is optionally replaced by thermal Stabilize fixed. The monofilaments then become strands merged and from the strands so-called bundles cut to length, the length of which is a multiple of the length of the later bristles. These are enclosed in an envelope Bundles then become so-called short cuts trimmed approximately the length of the bristles correspond. The ones still enclosed by the shell Short cuts then go to brush production, where the Shell separated and the bristles usually on Magazine to be handed over. From the magazine through Compartments peeled off individual bundles, which are then attached to the carrier attached by mechanical or thermal processes become.
To use a bristle trim in this procedure Bundles or packages with different types of bristles received, the bundles or short cuts with different types Bristles side by side after loosening the sheath laid out horizontally and by repositioning several times mixed in the transverse direction, then again merged and bundled. Here is the composition and / or homogeneity of the mixture largely that Left to chance and usually completely inadequate. Furthermore, undesirably large waste arises when mixing Bristle material. This mixing is also because of the high machine and time expenditure very expensive. The mixing Rough and odd synthetic bristles is due to the necessary to align the bristles in the transverse position Combing, if at all, only with intolerable waste possible. Mixing smooth synthetic bristles is problematic because of their good sliding properties. The on Bristle goods manufactured in this way can be found in the Quality, i.e. especially in the orientation of the different Bristles in the bundle or in the entire bristle trim not convince.
In another process technology, the endless monofilaments processed directly from the coil by the Monofilament strand in which the monofilament in one the corresponding number of later bundles or trimmings, deducted directly to the place of manufacture. The leading end of the strand is positioned there, optionally also thermally on the bristle carrier attached and then one of the desired bristle length cut the appropriate length from the endless strand. With this mode of operation, the aforementioned mixing can be done not perform at all.
The invention has for its object a method to create using the manufacture of bristle goods allows different types of plastic bristles, namely regardless of which of the above two procedures applied in the manufacture of the bristle goods and the plastic bristle mixture at the same time cheaper and a mixture of defined composition to ensure.
This object is achieved in that different types of endless monofilaments in the for the finished Bristle goods desired composition in the direction their longitudinal extension merged into a mixed strand are and the mixed strand is wound up, and that of the mixed strand for the manufacture of Bristle material required bristle material is cut to length.
The desired bristle mixture is thus brought together generated by endless monofilaments. This may be the case the manufacture of the continuous monofilament during winding extrusion, but also later from the production spools happen down. This makes it special possible, in the mixed strand generated from different types Endless monofilaments to a defined composition get that until the bristles are cut to length Final dimension or any intermediate dimension is retained. By eliminating the manual or mechanical mixing process there is also a saving in investment Facilities and space requirements. Furthermore, it cannot unwanted waste of bristle material. In order to can be the highest with simultaneous cost reduction Meet the quality requirements for the finished bristle goods. The invention also does not open up to now given possibility, differently structured and / or to produce profiled bristles in a mixture, by appropriately structured or profiled Endless monofilament, possibly with smooth monofilament the mixed strand are brought together. With the so far usual mechanical or manual mixing can be from such structured or profiled bristles do not produce defined mixtures, as such bristles tend to segregate or not at all let mix.
The endless monofilaments can either be single and immediate are brought together to form the mixed strand. Instead it is also possible that two or more strands with each different, but within the strand same endless monofilaments to a single mixed strand be spooled together. This is made possible in particular the bristle goods manufacturer, the wound bristle material to keep in stock and the required mixture if necessary to manufacture.
An advantageous variant of the method stands out characterized in that the mixed strand one or more times is rewound. In this way, homogeneous Make fine mixtures.
The principle of the invention can be different Realize executions. So it can be provided that the various endless monofilaments in one individual bristle bundle or a bristle pack of Bristleware corresponding composition to one Mixed strand are merged and the mixed strand is wound up, and then before the mixed strand the bundles or packages in the desired length of the Bristles or a multiple thereof can be cut to length.
In this version, mixed strands are generated, in which the monofilaments in number and quality already have the shape as it will be on the bristle carrier later bristle bundle or bristle pack to be fastened are desired.
This version will be chosen especially if it is a bundle of larger diameter, either that the bundle has a correspondingly large number of bristles or has such larger diameter. Also for them Manufacture of bristle packs of larger cross-section this method is suitable.
This procedure is also suitable for the so-called Endless processing, in which the unwound strand with its leading end first connected to a carrier will and during or after fastening the Bristles are cut to length from the strand. The attachment usually takes place by thermal processes, namely welding, injection, beating or the like.
Instead, the method can be done in the same way be carried out that the different types of monofilaments are brought together in a mixed strand and spooled out, in which the monofilaments evenly mixed in one Number that are a multiple of the number of Bristles in a single bundle of bristles, and that of the mixed strand after unwinding bundles with a multiple the length of the bristles are cut to length that the Bund is wrapped with a sheath and then the covered waistband into short cuts in one of the bristles appropriate length is cut from which individual Bundles of different types of bristles by dividing be preserved.
Even in this way of working via the intermediate stage of Short cuts eliminate all the disadvantages of the known Mixed media. The attachment of the bundle can be mechanical Manner, e.g. the well-known punching, by gluing but also with any thermal process.
With the method according to the invention, continuous monofilaments can be produced of different diameters and / or materials and / or profile and / or different surface structure and / or color to a mixed strand, if necessary with the intermediate winding of thinner strands.

Schließlich zeigt Figur 4a eine Ausführung, bei der
Endlosmonofile unterschiedlichen Querschnitts erzeugt
werden. So erzeugt der Extruder 37 Monofile 40 mit dreieckigem
Querschnitt, die auf einer Spule 41 aufgespult

Querschnitt erzeugt, die auf einer Spule 43 aufgespult
werden. Von den Spulen 41, 43 kann dann der Mischstrang
durch Umspulen erzeugt werden. Figur 4b zeigt eine
Variante, bei der der Extruder 39 Endlosmonofile verschiedener
Querschnittsform mit einer entsprechenden
Düsenform erzeugt. Diese verschiedenartigen Endlosmonofile

Claims (7)
- Method for the production of bristle material for brushware with different types of plastic bristles produced by extrusion in the form of continuous monofilaments, characterized in that different types of continuous monofilaments are combined in the composition desired for the finished brushware and in the direction of their longitudinal extension to form a mixed strand which is wound up and that from the mixed strand the bristle material required for the production of the brushware is cut to length.
- Method according to claim 1, characterized in that two or more strands with in each case different types of continuous monofilaments, but which are the same within the strand, are wound together to form a single mixed strand.
- Method according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the mixed strand is rewound one or more times.
- Method according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the different types of continuous monofilaments in a composition corresponding to an individual bristle bundle or a bristle group of the brushware are combined to form a mixed strand which is wound up and that subsequently upstream of the mixed strand the bundles or groups are cut to length in the desired length of the bristles or a multiple thereof.
- Method according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the different types of monofilaments are combined to form a mixed strand and wound up and in which the monofilaments are present in uniformly mixed manner in a number which is a multiple of the number of bristles in a single bristle bundle and that from the mixed strand, following unwinding, skeins are cut to length with a multiple of the length of the bristles, that the skein is surrounded with a cover and subsequently the covered skein is cut to short-cuts in a length corresponding to the bristles and from which individual bundles of different types of bristles are obtained by separating.
- Method according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterized in that continuous monofilaments having a different diameter and/or material and/or profile and/or different surface structure and/or colour are combined to form the mixed strand.
- Method according to claim 5, characterized in that the different types of continuous monofilaments are combined to form the mixed strand immediately following extrusion.
