Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung einer Anbindung eines hohlzylindrischen λ-Sondenhalters (6) an ein mit einer Öffnung zur Beaufschlagung der im Halter befestigten λ-Sonde (10) mit Abgas versehenes Abgasrohr (4,5), das aus einem Rohrrohling zur gewünschten Fertigform innenhochdruckumgeformt wird. Dabei wird mittels des Innenhochdruckumformens eine zur Anlagekontur der Mantelfläche (7) des Halters (6) formnegative von einer Einwölbung (13) gebildete Anlagefläche am Abgasrohr ausgeformt. Durch das beanspruchte Verfahren bzw. die Vorrichtung ist in einfacher Weise eine maßhaltige Anbindung des λ-Sondenhalters an das Abgasrohr erzielbar.
