Auf diese Weise wird ähnlich wie bei der Verrippung eines Flugzeugtragflügels aus Spanten und Holmen bei einem geringen Gewicht eine ausgezeichnete Steifigkeit erzielt. Es ist somit nicht notwendig, einen Kunststoff einzusetzen, der beispielsweise faserverstärkt ist, was zu reduzierten Herstellungskosten führt. Um eine einfache Konstruktion zu erhalten, wird vorgeschlagen, die Farbrolle auf dem Walzenlager am vorderen Ende des Tragbügels einrastbar auszuführen. Ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäßen Tragbügels für einen Farbroller ist in den Figuren 1 bis 3 sowie die dazugehörigen Querschnitte in den Figuren 4a bis g dargestellt. Die Querschnitte in den Figuren 4a bis g sind dabei im Maßstab 2:1 abgebildet. Der Tragbügel 1 ist einstückig aus Kunststoff hergestellt. Er umfaßt an seinem unteren Ende einen Handgriff 2 und an seinem oberen Ende ein ungefähr senkrecht zum Handgriff verlaufendes Walzenlager 4. Dazwischen liegt ein gebogenes Verbindungsteil 3. Das Verbindungsteil 3 und der Handgriff 2 werden im wesentlichen durch ein einseitig offenes Hohlprofil 5 (siehe hierzu die Schnittverläufe in den Fig. 4a bis b) gebildet. Im Bereich des Handgriffs 2 wird das Hohlprofil 5 durch querverlaufende Rippen 6 versteift. Exemplarisch sind Rippen oder Versteifungselemente entlang der Schnittlinin E-E bzw. F-F (siehe Fig. 3) in den Fig. 4e und Fig. 4f dargestellt. Die Versteifungselemente 6 sind in einem vergleichsweise engen Abstand a von vorzugsweise 3 mm angeordnet (siehe hierzu insbesondere Fig. 4g) . Die Versteifungselemente 6 stehen auf der offenen Seite des Hohlprofils 5 über dieses über, so daß auf der einen Seite durch das Hohlprofil 5 und auf der anderen Seite durch die Außenkanten der Versteifungselemente die Raumform des Handgriffs 2 definiert wird (Fig. 2). Wie insbesondere in Fig. 1 deutlich wird, ist die Außenseite des Hohlprofils im Bereich der Greiffläche 7 des Handgriffs 2 zur Verbesserung der Greifqualität gerippt. Auch im Bereich des Verbindungsteils 3 sind zur Versteifung querverlaufende Rippen bzw. Versteifungselemente 7 im Hohlprofil 5 vorhanden. Der Abstand der Versteifungselemente ist allerdings deutlich größer als im Bereich des Handgriffs 2. Außerdem stehen die Versteifungselemente nicht über die offene Seite des Hohlprofils über.
