Definitions
- the invention relates to a holder for a spray can. It is already a pistol-like handle for Spray cans known (DE 29506519). This contains an approx right-angled made of two half-shells Housing, one leg of which forms the actual handle, while the other leg in the area of its free end is intended to hold the neck of a spray can. Here this end is approximately fork-shaped, so that a Spray can can be inserted and snapped. Of the Actuator lever contains a release button that is located over the extends the entire length of the handle. With this spray can handle there may be a danger that Handling the spray can detaches from the holder.
- the invention has for its object a hand holder to create for a spray can that with regard to the Occupational safety improved even under difficult conditions is.
- the invention proposes a hand holder with the features mentioned in claim 1. Training the invention are the subject of dependent claims.
- the spray can only by one Snap connection is held, it is in the invention completely surrounded by the bracket element, so that they with great security is secured to the bracket.
- the coat hanger does not need in all places on the neck of the spray can to attack, it may be enough if he does so on some Places does that, however, distributed over the entire scope should be.
- the Bracket together with a recess in the hand holder opening around the neck of the aerosol can forms.
- This opening is approximately circular in shape.
- the opening is a circumferential groove has, in which a bead of the spray can engages.
- a positive determination in the axial direction causes the spray can on the bracket so that it is positioned and can be kept wobble-free.
- the bracket can be designed so that it approximately is semicircular, so that the opening to one half of the bracket and the other half of the bracket itself is formed.
- the handle completely grips the neck of the spray can. He can be designed in its axial extent that it is also present at the level of the spray jet. In this He can fall on his side facing away from the hand holder have a recess, a notch or the like that the spray jet can escape. This can ensure be that the spray is always in the right direction is directed away from the handle. With one possibly incorrectly inserting the spray can, the spray jet of the bracket or shielded from the bracket itself, so that the user cannot spray himself.
- the bracket can in particular with a screw or with two screws are screwed to the bracket. Since the Bracket when replacing spray cans must be released, it is sensible, a nut element for this screw in the holder to be provided as a metallic component.
- the bracket is pivotable is articulated on the bracket. The determination can then be made the free end with the help of a screw. This has the advantage that the bracket can not be lost and that only one screw loosened to replace a spray can are needed.
- the actuating element has a trigger on the spray can facing side of the handle is arranged.
- This The trigger is that element or part of the Actuator that the user attacks when he want to open the spray can valve.
- the handle is advantageous parallel or slightly oblique to the spray can.
- the fastening device can at the end of a housing part running radially opposite the spray can be arranged at the other end at an angle the handle is formed from about 90 to 120 °. Especially can the actuator in the area of these housing parts be pivotally articulated.
- the trigger is about half the length of the handle extends. This has the advantage that the User can also hold the holder by the handle, without having to attack the trigger at the same time. Thereby operating errors are avoided.
- the handle on its side facing the spray can one over one Part of its length extending recess for receiving the Trigger may have. This can trigger the trigger Incorrect operation can be secured, for example if the user bumps somewhere with the device.
- the Hand holder also have a locking device with which the actuation of the valve of the spray can be prevented should.
- the locking device can in particular on the actuating lever attack and preferably be arranged so that the user holding the hand holder with them can operate the thumb.
- the locking device can be pivoted have mounted lever, which is in a clamping engagement or Locking engagement can be brought with the operating lever.
- the hand holder can consist of two half shells Have housing in which the actuating element is mounted is. This is preferably in the open position by a spring pressurized so that the user can use the power of Must overcome spring if he wants to spray.
- FIG 1 shows the hand holder from the side.
- the hand holder contains a housing 1 consisting of two half-shells, 1 of which the front half-shell 2 can be seen.
- the Housing contains a horizontally extending in the figure 1 first housing part 3, at the right end in Figure 1 itself the handle 4 at an angle of approximately one hundred degrees connects.
- the handle 4 is dimensioned so that it is a So taking users in hand is on an average Hand size adjusted in length and width.
- To the opposite free end of the housing part 3 is a Articulated bracket 5, which together with the housing part 3 a Bracket for a spray can forms.
- the spray turns on her neck held and extended in the area of the spray nozzle downwards, i.e. roughly parallel to the handle 4.
- An actuating element 6 can be pivoted in the housing stored on its top a kind of conclusion for the Housing 1 forms.
- the actuator 6 is of the Top of the housing 1 visible from here. It has a trigger element 7 on the side facing the spray can 8 the handle 4 is arranged and about half the length of the handle 4 extends. At this point the side facing the spray can 8 of the handle 4 a Recess 9 in which the trigger 7 is arranged.
- the Recess 8 is transverse to the rest of the handle to the longitudinal direction of the handle 4 extending web 10 separately.
- the recess 9 and the trigger 7 are on the Housing part 3 facing portion of the handle 4 is arranged. A user can therefore use two or three fingers Hold the bracket firmly at the free end of the handle 4 and then press the trigger 7 with your index finger.
- the Actuation of the trigger 7, d. H. when moving to the Handle 4, pivots the front free end 11 of the Actuator 6 downward and presses the spray head the spray can into it. This will make the levy triggered
- FIG. 1 The housing of the hand holder shown in FIG. 1 consists of as already mentioned, from two half-shells, the lengthways abut one level.
- Figure 2 now shows one Individual view of the rear half-shell in the area in FIG. 1 of the front end. It can be seen that one over here a quarter circle extending groove 12 is formed which is delimited on both sides by corresponding ribs 13. This Groove 12 is dimensioned so that a bead on the neck of one Spray can can just engage in the groove 12. This will the neck of a spray can positioned.
- the groove 12 is also in the second half shell, the two half shells in the assembled state this way form semicircular recess.
- FIG. 3 is a schematic plan view of the hand holder shows with the bracket 5 open.
- the bracket 5 is in the area one end with one half-shell pivotable through a shaft 15 connected.
- a screw 17 is inserted in the bracket 15, which with its free end projecting section 18 in a nut 19 inserted in the holder can engage.
- the bracket is removed after loosening the Screw 17 swung open, the spray can is in the groove 12 inserted, and then the bracket is closed again Position pivoted. There he is through that Screw the screw 17 into the nut 19. Of the User can now by attacking the trigger 7 the Trigger spraying process.
- Figure 4 shows the front view of the bracket from the left in Figure 1 with the spray can 20.
- the bracket 5, the the screw 17 is attached, has an approximately semicircular Recess 21 through which the spray jet emerge can by pressing the actuating element 6 is triggered.
- the side of the bracket facing away from the handle 4 can also ensure that the spray can is inserted incorrectly or if the spray nozzle is incorrectly oriented, the spray jet does not is directed against the user.
- Fig. 5 shows the upper part of the hand holder without the bracket for fastening the spray can.
- the operating lever 6 is in the housing pivoted about a shaft 24. Will he be with Help the trigger 7 to actuate the valve of the spray can is actuated, the valve associated with it in FIG. 5 pivots left end down, while the opposite end in Fig. 5 right end swings up.
- a locking device 23 In the area of the end of the hand holder facing away from the spray can is attached to this a locking device 23, the has a pivotable lever 25.
- the locking lever 25 includes a protrusion 26 that is opposite the longitudinal axis of the Lever 25 extends obliquely and one at its free end Has thickening 27.
- the pivot lever 25 is in two Openings of the handle are used and can be used with its free End pivoted upward, then the thickening 27 pivots up and over the rear edge of the lever 6 this determines.
- the between the pivot points 28th of the lever 25 and the thickening 27 formed side surface 29 can have a ribbing so that the lever 25 in its Locked position remains in engagement with the lever 6.
- Fig. 5 shows the release position of the locking device. To the lever to move into the locked position, he must with his free End up, d. H. 5 pivoted in a counterclockwise direction become.
- Fig. 6 shows a plan view of the pivot lever 25 of the Locking device.
- the lever in this view is about U-shaped, the two legs 30 on both Reach the sides of the hand holder and use the at their ends inwardly directed pin 31 in corresponding Engage holes in the hand holder. Because the swivel lever 25 advantageously made of plastic, it can easily to be snapped up.
