Description

The invention relates to a high tensile fabric tape, in particular dryer fabric tape for paper machine clothing, which two from warp threads and Weft threads having existing fabric sections, the mutually facing ends are connected by a seam, with the warp threads at the end of the two Fabric sections form loops projecting at different distances and the farthest protruding warp thread loops of the two fabric sections on a common Connection line through a locking wire through these loops are connected.

In the case of so-called loop seam connections, the fabric edge is generally the strongest claimed position. In the event of overvoltages occurring in the tissue, these points occur often a so-called eyelet rupture, which means a repair or replacement of the tissue makes necessary.

Hierbei ist keine Verstärkung der Außenbereiche der Nahtverbindung vorgesehen.DE-A-28 06 742 discloses a dryer fabric belt for paper machine clothing known which two fabric sections consisting of warp threads and weft threads has, the mutually facing ends connected by a seam connection are, the warp threads at the end of the two fabric sections different form protruding loops and the most protruding warp thread loops of the two tissue sections on a common connecting line a locking wire guided through these loops are connected to one another. Here no reinforcement of the outer areas of the seam connection is provided.

Furthermore, FR-A-813 486 is a metallic fabric tape for paper machines known, the ends of which are connected by a seam, the outer regions the seam is reinforced by metallic wires and with an elastic material or coated with a forgeable metal.

AT-A- 324 110 offenbart ein Siebband für Entwässerungsmaschinen, das aus einem Gewebe aus Kett- und Schußfäden besteht, bei welchem zum Verbinden des Siebbandes zu einem endlosen Band die zu verbindenden Enden des Siebbandes im Bereich der Bandränder aufgespleißt und die verschieden lang abgetrennten Kettfäden mit ihren korrespondierend abgetrennten Kettfäden am anderen Ende und den Schußfäden verwebt werden, wobei der restliche mittlere Teil des Siebbandes überlappt vernäht wird.AT-A-324 110 discloses a screen belt for dewatering machines made from a fabric consists of warp and weft threads, in which to connect the screen belt to an endless band the ends of the sieve belt to be connected in the area of Band edges spliced and the warp threads of different lengths separated with their corresponding ones severed warp threads at the other end and the weft threads interwoven with the remaining middle part of the sieve belt being sewn overlapped.

The object of the invention is in the generic fabrics, the seam connection in reinforce their outer areas and thus prevent the risk of eye breakage, at least to reduce, and in this way the lifespan of such fabrics to increase.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that in at least one of the the warp thread loops of the two fabric sections protrude equally and the seam connection by a spiral seam connection is formed, the two worked into the respective tissue section end Has coils, each of the coils with the warp thread loops of the respective Tissue section is integrated in this at least one outer area and at least one weft thread of the respective fabric section and the closing wire encloses, and that the warp loops in the rest of the seam connection the two fabric sections protrude differently and the seam connection through the most protruding warp thread loops of the two fabric sections is formed, through which the locking wire is guided.

Weitere Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.Further embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

The seam connection proposed by the invention basically consists of a Foreign material that is in the form of a spiral arrangement and at least on one side, usually, however, on both side areas of the two fabric sections in whose edge area is incorporated. This creates a seam connection that two different seam connection systems, and the one reinforcement precisely at the weak points, namely the outer sections of the fabric. Compared to a conventional loop seam, in which only every second thread as Connecting thread can be used, and thus the seam tear strength in comparison to the fabric tear strength is about 50% is when using an inventive Seam reinforcement held the helix through all the warp threads, making a substantial Increase in seam tear strength compared to a loop seam is achieved. The tensile strength value depends primarily on the strength of the coil or its Diameter and their material properties.

The helix arrangement is designed so that one helix each in the left and right edge areas of the mutually facing free ends of the two tissue sections is incorporated. At the points of the coils, the warp threads extend in Loop shape equally far at the end limit, while it is in the remaining part of the fabric panel are staggered in the longitudinal direction in a conventional manner and the Loops of the two fabric sections alternately protrude differently, so that only every second loop of each of the two fabric sections connects the connecting wire encloses.

The ends of the two coils in the two tissue sections become the center of the tissue anchored there. The respective spiral end piece is straightened and pulled back towards the fabric and at the transition from the loop seam is a straightened Piece incorporated, so that pulling out the coil ends is not is possible. The incorporation of the coils can be carried out simultaneously with the manufacture of the Loop seam done, but it is easily possible to retrofit the coils to be worked in separately.
