Description

The invention relates to a shower head, in particular for a Hand shower or a fixed shower, with a housing, which is connected to a water supply, and with a nozzle insert made of soft elastic material attached to the housing, which nozzle insert has a plurality of water outlet openings has and mechanical to blow off limescale can be tumbled.

A shower head of this type is in the prior art from EP-A-0 719 587 became known. With this are the water outlet openings at least partially as hose-like nozzle attachments educated. So that the nozzle attachments are flexed by hand to blow off of limescale is possible, at least one Part of the hose-like nozzle attachments in a certain axial Area surrounded by a free annulus. Similar shower heads are in numerous similar and further versions in State of the art known. It is still open here, for example referred to WO 91/12894. These shower heads have in common that the nozzle insert is plate-shaped and the water outlet openings through hose-like and thin-walled end pieces are formed. In the shower head according to EP-A-0 435 031 is considered very essential that these tubular End pieces are as thin-walled as possible. This is supposed to be simple Means be possible, the lime incrustations targeted at the downstream remove the end of the end pieces by milling. The disadvantage here, however, is that these thin-walled end pieces are prone to injury and especially damaged when walking can be.

The invention has for its object a shower head to create the type mentioned, which avoids the disadvantage mentioned above.

The task is done with a generic shower head the features of the characterizing part of claim 1 solved. Such an annular Backdrop can also be used to remove limescale very good and handy to walk, but avoids thin walls, that can be hurt. Instabilities in beam formation, as in the known hose-like nozzle approaches are avoided. The backdrop is particularly suitable for a shower head that changes from shower mode to jet mode is convertible. The use for the blasting operation can then be centric be arranged to the backdrop. According to further training of the invention, the backdrop with two or more concentric circumferential rows, such is suitable especially for a bath shower, which has a correspondingly high Number of water outlet openings is provided. Between adjacent rows are incorporated into the backdrop of grooves or grooves, which allow walking of the individual rows. The Shower according to the invention is characterized by a particularly high Lifespan and still allows the distance mentioned limescale deposits by blasting.

Further advantageous features result from the dependent ones Claims, the following description and the Drawing.

Figur 3
einen Abschnitt eines Düseneinsatzes nach einer Variante.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
Figure 1
2 shows a section through a shower head according to the invention,
Figure 2
a view of a nozzle insert, and
Figure 3
a section of a nozzle insert according to a variant.

Both parts are screwed together and through Seals 14 to form a water space 16 against each other sealed. The water space 16 is in connection with a water inlet channel 15, in a known manner to a not shown here Water supply is to be connected. Concentric to the water space 16 there is another water space 17. By means of a Button 7 can be the water inlet channel 15 optionally with the water room 16 or the water space 17 are connected. In the shown Position is the water inlet channel 15 with the water space 17 connected. If the button 17 in the position shown against the retroactive force of a compression spring 8 moves down, so moved one on a sealed with a lip seal 13 Plunger 9 attached closing member 10 from an upper valve seat 19 to a lower valve seat 11 and thus closes the Water space 17 against the water inlet channel 15. Access to one well known per se and therefore not further explained here Nozzle 12 is interrupted and the water inlet channel 15 with connected to the water space 16. The water now flows from the water space 16 to a rubber-elastic nozzle insert 2, which in a Ring groove 4 of the shower base 6 is attached. The attachment is preferably done by a polymeric composite. Will the button 7 released, the compression spring 8 moves the sealing member 10 again in the position shown in Figure 1, in which the Water flows out as a jet through the nozzle 12. However, it is conceivable also a version in which the button 7 in the lower Position can be locked, or by water pressure greater than 0.5 bar is kept.

The annular intermediate insert 2 consists of a rubber-elastic Material preferably with a hardness in the range of 40 to 80 Shore A, preferably about 50 Shore A. Like FIG. 2 shows, the insert 2 concentrically has two rows A, B. several water outlet openings 3. The insert 2 is according to 1 protruding from the bottom underside 6a of the shower base 6 and can radially inwards and outwards be walked. Here there are limescale deposits in the water outlet openings 3 canceled. The base 2a of the nozzle insert 2 is anchored in the annular groove 4 of the shower base 6. The nozzle insert 2 is preferably molded onto the shower base 6a and thus firmly connected to it. This enables one particularly inexpensive manufacture.

Figure 3 shows a nozzle insert in which three concentrically Rows A, B, C with water outlet openings 3 are arranged. Between two adjacent rows A, B and B, C is one Groove or groove 21 incorporated, which is a fulling of the neighboring Rows allowed. This nozzle insert 20 is also in a groove molded onto the shower base 6. In the version shown are three rows A, B, C are provided. However, versions are also conceivable with two rows or more than three rows. This nozzle insert 20 is particularly suitable for a shower head.
