Abstract

The shower head has a nozzle insert (2) made of soft elastic material. This forms a ring-shaped slide guide (4) which is held by its base (2a) on the housing (1). The nozzle insert can be injection moulded on the housing to protrude from it. The nozzle insert has a Shore hardness of about 50 Shore A. The insert has a circumferential groove, between two adjoining rows of water outlet openings, at the end side. The shower head can have a nozzle (12), for forming a water jet, coaxial with its insert. A button (7) is used to change from shower to jet operation.
