Abstract

Zur Brandverhinderung, insbesondere zum Ausscheiden und Löschen von Funken beim Fördern feuergefährdeter Schüttgüter in Fördereinrichtungen, insbesondere in Rohrleitungen, ist es bekannt, daß man beim Erkennen einer Zone mit überhöhter Temperatur, insbesondere eines Funkens in einem Förderstrom durch eine Funkenerkennungseinrichtung den Förderstrom an einem zweiten, stromab der Funkenerkennungseinrichtung gelegenen Ort unterbrechen und den Funken bzw. Brandherd eliminieren oder löschen kann. Zum Unterbrechen werden aufwendige Schieber verwendet, die sehr schnell arbeiten müssen.
Es wird vorgeschlagen, den Förderstrom in im wesentlichen kontinuierlich bewegte Einzelmengen zu unterteilen, die über einen Wegabschnitt feuersicher voneinander getrennt gefördert und beim Erkennen eines Funkens angehalten werden.
