- Device according to Claim 2, characterized in that minimum speeds which are also provided are stored in the memory and the respectively read-out minimum speed is output.
- Device according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the read-out maximum speed values can be fed to a speed controlling system (4).
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that maximum speed values which are assigned to the individual lanes are stored for route sections with a plurality of lanes in one direction, and in that in addition the device for detecting on which lane the motor vehicle is respectively located controls the reading out of the maximum speed values and if appropriate of the minimum speed values.
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the memory (2) is embodied as a mass storage means and it contains the route sections in the form of a road map.
- Device according to Claim 6, characterized in that maximum speed values which are updated by means of a data transmission device (6, 20; 21, 22, 23) can be received, written into a further memory and read out from the mass storage means (2) with priority over the maximum speed values.
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one sensor (5) from whose output signal a maximum speed value is derived is provided on the motor vehicle.
- Device according to Claim 8, characterized in that the derived maximum speed value is produced by changing the read-out maximum speed value as a function of the output signal of the sensor.
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that further information which influences the maximum speed can be received via a radio network.
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that further information which influences the maximum speed can be received from short-range transmitters arranged on route sections.
