A fragmentary body 1 of an infantry grenade 5 is shown in longitudinal section from a pot 7 made of a ductile steel, an explosive charge arranged therein 9, and from a plastic shirt 17 with an integrally formed guide ring 18th

Der Splitterkörper 1 ist in zwei Längsabschnitte 25, 26 gegliedert. The splinter body 1 is divided into two longitudinal sections 25, 26.

The front, opening-side section 25 consists of notches 27 on the inside provided splinter rings 28 or with notches 27 provided helix 29 each Stole.

Ball splinters 32 supported in plastic 31 are provided in the longitudinal section 26.

The plastic shirt 17 is located in the rear in an annular groove 35 of a tubular extension 37 of the pot 7. This tube extension 37 supports a tracer 40. Furthermore, the Pot 7 on the opening side a radial collar 43 as a stop for the splinter body 1 and a thin-walled, threaded 45 thin-walled collar 47 on. An igniter 50 is screwed into the thread 45 and lies axially on it Bund 43 on.

The explosive 9 extends over the radial collar 43 in accordance with a Protrusion 11 extends into the area of the collar 47.
