Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur kontinuierlichen Intensivbefeuchtung von Textilbahnen. Es bestand die Aufgabe, ein derartiges Verfahren zur Verfügung zu stellen, mit dem eine kostengünstige, streifenfreie und reproduzierbare Kernbefeuchtung der Fasern der zu behandelnden Textilbahnen bei vergleichsweise hoher Durchlaufgeschwindigkeit der Textilbahnen durchführbar ist. Gelöst wird diese Aufgabe dadurch, daß die zu behandelnde Textilbahn (1) in einer ersten Behandlungsstufe (2) mit Wasser beladen und anschließend in einer zweiten Behandlungsstufe von einem eine Verdunstung des Wassers verhindernden Mitläufer (4) nach außen abgedeckt und gegen eine oder mehrere geschlossene, beheizte Flächen (5) gepreßt wird, deren Oberflächentemperatur unter dem Siedepunkt von Wasser liegt.

The present invention relates to a method for the continuous intensive moistening of textile webs. The object was to provide such a method, with which inexpensive, streak-free and reproducible core moistening of the fibers of the textile webs to be treated can be carried out with a comparatively high throughput speed of the textile webs. This object is achieved in that the textile web (1) to be treated is loaded with water in a first treatment stage (2) and then covered in a second treatment stage by a follower (4) which prevents evaporation of the water and is closed to one or more closed ones , heated surfaces (5) is pressed, the surface temperature of which is below the boiling point of water.
