Description
The invention relates to a protective helmet as it is in the preamble of the main claim is described.
Protective helmets (e.g. for motorcyclists) have existed since the beginning of the eighties, which have a hinged chin part; such helmets are shown below Called flip-up helmets. This form of shelter enables e.g. Glasses wearers put on the safety helmet comfortably without taking off their glasses, or e.g. Motorcycle police officers without taking off their hard hat To conduct a dialogue with other road users with the helmet chin part open. The Accumulation of several steps when putting on the helmet (putting on, Close the chin strap, fold down the chin section) for short distances (e.g. in the City traffic) often to ensure that the chin strap is not closed. Of many people wear protective helmets at high outside temperatures and low driving speed (e.g. inner city) with the chin part open drive. After all, flip-up helmets are on the market, which are characterized by the dismantling of the chin part from the "full face helmet" to the "open face helmet".
Dabei wird der Bügel über Kurvenscheiben und Schwenkgliedern relativ aufwendig gesteuert.EP 0 258 496 B1 shows a protective helmet with a fold-up chin part, in which a bracket, which takes over the function of a chin strap, when folded down of the chin part automatically creates. The bracket is placed over cams and swivel links controlled relatively expensive.
From DE-U1 78 28 327 a two-part chin strap can be removed, the both parts by a main closure and an additional snap fastener can be connected.
The object of the invention is to design a generic hard hat so that it is simply constructed and conveniently securely attached to the head of the helmet wearer can be fixed even when the chin section is folded up or removed.
The object is achieved with the characterizing features of Main claim solved. Further advantageous designs result from the Dependent claims.
According to the invention, the chin strap automatically lies down when the chin part is closed on. Preferably the helmet wearer with the flip up or off To drive the chin part, he can also attach a chin strap to the helmet shell, which he then closes manually in a known manner. So that's safe Guaranteed wearing the protective helmet in these situations. Accordingly, it causes more generally, the invention involves a forced use of the chin strap closed chin section, which increases safety in the event of a possible Accident leads. It is characterized by a more comfortable use by a few simple steps when putting on and closing the protective helmet eliminated. Nevertheless, all functional features of a flip-up helmet are maintained. Furthermore, the protective helmet wearer can e.g. at high outside temperatures remove the chin part; through the one to be attached to the helmet shell Second chin strap is also the safe wearing of the Protective helmet guaranteed.
In an expedient embodiment, the chin strap is attached to the chin part in such a way that when the chin part is folded down, it is in a concentric circular path moved around the chin part pivot point and in the closed chin part position leads to firm, secure contact with the neck of the helmet wearer.
It is also expedient to design the length of the chin strap so that it can be changed that the respective user can set them individually for his needs. A Comfort is increased by padding the chin straps.
In a particularly expedient embodiment, the one provided on the chin part Strap designed and attached so that it can be removed and attached to the helmet shell can be attached. In this case, there is no need to carry a second one Chinstrap.

A flip-
Fig. 3 shows a chin strap, generally designated 6, on both sides

is firmly connected to the chin part. It moves up when the
Komfortpolsterung 14 abgedeckt.The
Fig. 4 shows a second chin strap, which are attached to the helmet shell

is removed. The
At the other end of the
Fig. 5 zeigt als Einzelheit "X" der Fig.

Kinnriemenabschnitte 16, 17.The connecting
The
The end of the
