    2. Machine as claimed in claim 1 characterised in that the double lever (10) has a first profiled leg (10a) facing towards the outside of the machine and forming a push surface (10e) for positioning the user's thumb,
      and in that one end of the other leg (10b) is devised with a double bent hook shape (10f) of which one end (10g) is curved in order to fit into a cylindrical opening (4a) formed on the end shield (4b) of the drum.
    3. Machine as claimed in claim 2 characterised in that the middle part (10c) of the double lever has an opening (10d) that freely engages with a fixed point of the peg type (11) located on the end shield facing the housing.

Machine as claimed in any of claims 1 to 3 characterised in that the second component (12) forming a handle is positioned and centred on the hinge pin (11) of the double lever, said handle having a flank (12a) made with an oblong opening (12b) enabling it to engage with and travel around a protruding pin (13) that projects beyond the fixed peg (11).

Machine as claimed in any of claims 1 to 4 characterised in that the flank of the handle has a finger (14) used to fix a return means (15) of the spring type the first end (15a) of which is attached to the finger and the other end (15b) of which is attached to a protruding point (16) formed on the end shield of the housing, said handle having a tab (12c) of identical profile to the push surface of the double lever.
    6. Machine as claimed in any of claims 1 to 5 characterised in that the drum (4) is made with an internal circular opening (4a) formed on the same side as the operating button and facing the double lever (10), said cavity being devised with means forming a non-return limit stop by a projection (18) on the outer periphery of the cavity in order to obtain automatic operation of the machine and by an axial cam (19) having a profile in a beak shape (19a) for semi-automatic operation of the machine.
    7. Machine as claimed in claim 6 characterised in that, during semi-automatic operation of the machine, end (10g) of the bent part of the double lever is in contact with the beak (19a) of cam (19) after partial rotation of the drum corresponding to no ejection of the strip of paper from the machine leaving a residual release force in spring (7) associated with the off-centre lever,
      and in that actuating the push surface (10e) of the double lever makes it possible to release said drum at the end of its rotation due to the spring-back effect of spring (7) in order to make the strip of paper emerge so that it can be grasped.
    8. Machine as claimed in any of claims 1 to 5 characterised in that the push surface (10e) of the double lever is marked with the word "PUSH" whereas the upper and lower surfaces of the tab (12c) of the handle are marked respectively with an arrow and the word "STOP".
    9. Machine as claimed in any of claims 1 to 8 characterised in that spring (15) associated with handle (12) ensures, by a spring-back effect, jamming and locking in position of the handle and the double lever.

Machine as claimed in any of claims 1 to 9 characterised in that, in the automatic paper dispensing version, the double lever (10) is in a position where its curved end is in contact with the outer periphery of the cavity made underneath the end shield of the drum and the tab (12c) of handle (12) presses against push surface (10e) of the double lever due to the tension and spring-back action of spring (15),
      and in that, in the semi-automatic dispensing position, lever (10) is in a position where it is tilted towards the rear with its end in contact with cam (19) and handle (12) presses against leg (10b) of the double lever and is secured in position by the tension/spring-back effect of spring (15) with push surface (10e) of the double lever being free.
