Description

The invention relates to a washing device according to the preamble of the main claim.

A device of this kind is in German patent application P 196 14 395.0-27 the applicant of April 12, 1996. The device serves under another of cleaning a cylinder in a printing press, the device with a circuit for the supply and discharge of cleaning fluid (Detergent / solvent and / or water) with the interposition of a treatment plant is coupled. The cleaning device are used as a treatment plant at least two for the used (contaminated) cleaning fluid Sedimentation devices arranged in series. These separate using gravity suspended the cleaning fluid into the three components Solids, detergents / solvents and water.

According to EP 0 531 773 B1 is a device for washing a printing press cylinder known as a treatment plant a distillation unit and a downstream gravity separator, which the distillate in water and separates solvent. After separation, water and solvent individually and successively fed back to the washing device.

The device has one Washing roller, here referred to as a brush roller, cleaning a blanket cylinder serves in an offset printing machine. The cleaning device has, among other things, a special design of the housing. This is said to be an undesirable Spraying washing liquid on other parts of the printing machine be prevented. Furthermore, the bottom of the housing is used as a tub Collect used washing liquid and trained from contamination. The washing liquid is not prepared. On the housing itself among other things, a spray nozzle is provided which has a cleaning liquid jet, intermittent, among other things, along the bottom of the case Pan causes soiling as well as the washing liquid in the direction flushed to a drain and thus the accumulation of contaminants, which can prevent it from settling out as mud and liquid. Next the washing liquid is also the use of water for the cleaning fluid jet possible.

Without reprocessing is the use of washing liquid or water very complex and ecologically unacceptable, since it is significant for the rinsing process more water / washing liquid is required than for the actual washing self.

The object of the invention is to develop a solution by which the accumulation of contaminated cleaning fluid at the bottom of the housing Washing device is avoidable.

  • zweite Phase - Waschmittel.
This is solved by the training features of the main claim. Further training results from the subclaims.
According to the invention, the washing device essentially has a housing which extends over the entire width of the cylinder jacket surface to be cleaned. The washing device is suitable for cleaning blanket cylinders as well as impression cylinders. If the washing device is assigned to a pressure cylinder, it can be lifted off in the area of a gripper bridge. The housing has an opening facing the surface of the cylinder and accommodates a rotatably mounted washing roller or a transportable washcloth. The housing also has at least one row of nozzles arranged across the cylinder width, which serve to apply a cleaning fluid, preferably a vegetable detergent and / or water, to the washing roller or the washing cloth. The nozzles are coupled to a corresponding supply line. At least one supply line opens into the housing, preferably in the area of the side walls, in the vicinity of the floor and in the floor, preferably at the lowest point, there is at least one drain opening for the return of contaminated cleaning fluid. In addition to the supply line for the row of nozzles for wetting the washing roller / washcloth, the supply line is provided near the floor. The feed line opening in the vicinity of the housing base is coupled in a circuit with the drain opening with return line and an intermediate sedimentation device. The sedimentation device separates the contaminated cleaning fluid into at least two components (phases) according to the principle of gravity separation:
  • first phase - suspended solids with water (dirty water) and
  • second phase - detergent.

The detergent phase is pre-cleaned in the sedimentation device and under Interposition of a pump and a filter device by means of a feed line transported to the washing device. The pre-cleaned detergent is under Pressure is applied to the bottom of the housing of the washing device so that by the generated flow the floor with drainage opening of accumulating contaminated cleaning fluid is flushed out and through the drain opening is removed from the washing device.

The advantage of this design is that flushing with pre-cleaned cleaning fluid the accumulation and possibly damming of contaminated Cleaning fluid in the housing prevented. Likewise, clogging the drain opening prevented. Preference is given to the "washing" operating position Housing bottom of the washing device constantly by the pre-cleaned detergent washed away. Alternatively, the flush can also be operated intermittently. It is also advantageous if after the washing of the cylinder surface the purging is maintained for a short time. This ensures the better drainage of contaminated cleaning fluid through the use of used, but pre-cleaned cleaning fluid. An additional consumption Quantities of cleaning fluid are not required, as they are already available for flushing detergent in circulation can be used.

In the cleaning operation, the pre-cleaned cleaning fluid 12 is supplied by means of a feed line 9 fed to the nozzle 4 under pressure. The nozzle 4 produces with the pre-cleaned Cleaning fluid a flow 17 at the bottom of the housing 2 and rinses along the housing 2, the bottom and the drain opening 5 free. It is preferred flushing with pre-cleaned cleaning fluid with the suction of the contaminated cleaning fluid combined via the drain opening 5. The supply of pre-cleaned cleaning fluid 12 preferably begins shortly before the actual cleaning company and will be after the end of the cleaning company for a short time, e.g. 60 seconds, maintained. So that will be Collect and, if necessary, adhere contaminated cleaning fluid to the housing base prevents the cleaning effect when flushing is increased.
