Definitions
- the invention relates to a hook for fly screens and its use for this purpose.
- Fly screens are known and are used at building openings such as Window frames etc. fastened with mushroom tapes.
- these can be fastened using hooks or holding pins with screws or nails.
- the disadvantage here is that damage can occur to the window frame as well as to the sensitive fly screen.
- attaching to window frames made of metal or plastic is difficult or not possible, while plugs or the like are necessary for plaster base or masonry.
- mushroom tapes for attaching fly screens e.g. quick removal is not possible while certain windows e.g. Skylights that are equipped in this way can no longer be opened completely.
- a disadvantage of many of the known fastenings is that the screen is not close enough to the frame, so that insects can overcome the obstacle.
- the object of the invention was to remedy this.
- a hook is advantageous in which the first leg (1) is square or angular with a pointed end (4).
- a hook in which the second leg (2) is flat and has rounded corners is also advantageous.
- a hook in which the acute angle is 5-89 °, in particular 30-45 °, is also advantageous.
- Another advantage is a hook, which is in the form of an angled plate.
- the invention also relates to the use of a hook described above for the reversible fastening of an elastic fly screen or the like, characterized in that such a hook is glued to the 4 corners of a window or door frame in such a way that their second, angled legs point diagonally outward so that the hem of a mosquito net can be stretched over it.
- a fly screen which is elastic overall and / or whose hem is elastic.
- the first leg is equipped with a self-adhesive film that removes the tension in a reversible manner.
- a handle overlaps a self-adhesive film that is detachable under tension above the first leg.
- the elasticity of the fly screen can be caused in particular by an elastic band on the net edge or also by inherent material properties of the net. In the latter case, e.g. trade nylon.
- Suitable fly screens are in particular the following tulle qualities:
- Suitable materials for the hooks according to the invention are e.g. Plastic (transparent or opaque): polyolefins such as PE, PP, PS, ABS; Polyester; Polyamides; PMMA, polycarbonate; PVC or Formica, but also wood, raw and all varnished / glazed types, glass, metal or anodized.
- Plastic transparent or opaque
- polyolefins such as PE, PP, PS, ABS
- Polyester Polyamides
- PMMA polycarbonate
- PVC or Formica but also wood, raw and all varnished / glazed types, glass, metal or anodized.
- the angled plate shape is particularly advantageous for the hooks according to the invention.
- This hook shape minimizes the distance between the wall and the net edge. A minimum distance between the edge of the net and the wall is an essential prerequisite for an optimal protective function of the fly screen. Furthermore, this hook shape in combination with an elastic fly screen means that the net automatically clings to the wall.
- An acute angle is necessary, especially between ⁇ 5 ° and ⁇ 90 °. After practical tests, an angle range of 30 ° - 45 ° has been found to be optimal. In this angular range, an elastic fly screen can nestle particularly easily independently on the surface. It is also advantageous, however, to design the angled second leg in an arc or circle, as shown in FIG. 3 with (2), so that the acute angle is formed here by the flat first leg (1) and an imaginary tangent to it arcuate or circular second leg (2).
- the basic shape of the hook is advantageously adapted to the tesa poster strips.
- the adhesive properties of the tesa poster strip are particularly suitable for such bonds, namely rough adhesive substrates, e.g. Woodchip. And the intended load limit of up to 300 g is also sufficient for such bonding.
- the hooks according to the invention can be glued in the customary manner, in particular with double-sided adhesive tapes, such as foam fixes, film fixes or also strapless systems, but only develop their full qualities together with adhesive films which remove the tension, as described in DE 33 31 016 C2 are, but also in US 4,024,312, WO 92/11332, WO 92/11333, DE 42 22 849 A1, WO 95/06691, DE 44 28 587 A1 and DE 44 31 914 A1.
- Hooks with self-adhesive films of this type which are detachable on tension are also known, for example from DE 42 33 872 A1 and WO 94/21157, but such hooks are not suitable for fly screens.
- hooks according to the invention can also be glued using the technology according to DE 43 39 604 A1, provided that only sufficient loading capacity is provided.
- the shaped tip promotes a residue-free and gentle removal of the poster strip, even from sensitive surfaces such as This is advantageous for woodchip wallpaper, and for gluing in the window frame area.
- hooks in the color of the installed fly screen enable an almost invisible fastening behind the tensioned fly screen.
- the basis is a piece of aluminum sheet 40 mm long, 20 mm wide and 1.5 mm thick. At one end both corners are rounded (punched). The end with the rounded corners is bent over an imaginary line at a distance of 15 mm from this end by an angle of 40 ° (this line is designated by A in FIG. 2 and shown in dotted lines). The remaining area of 25 mm in length remains flat and is glued to a window frame 6 by means of an adhesive film strip 5 which is detachable on tension, the end (which points away from the bent-up part) being punched to a point in its last, 20 mm long part (approximately like shown in principle in Fig. 2 and designated 4).
- a handle 7 with the pieces of film 8 covering the adhesive projects beyond the flat part of the hook plate, the bent-up part 2 optically covering the handle 8.
- the hook By pulling on the handle 8 in the direction of the bonding plane, the hook can be removed from the window frame without leaving any residue (arrow B in FIG. 1).
- Such a hook is glued in all 4 corners of the window frame, the bent parts or legs 2 pointing diagonally outwards from an imaginary center of the window.
- a mosquito net with an elastic band at the edge of the net is placed over all 4 hooks, so that the elastic band lies tightly behind the bent legs 2 and is pulled firmly to the surface of the window frame 6 by its pull and thus lies closely against it.
- Example 1 A part formed as in Example 1 is made of polystyrene as an injection molded part. For the rest, reference is made to Example 1.
- a further embodiment of a hook according to the invention is shown, seen from the side, with a flat first leg 1, adhesive film strip 5 (although a handle as shown in Example 1 is not shown, but may advantageously be present), glued to a window frame 6.
- the second leg is here designed as a rounded area 2.
- the fly screen is excellently brought up to the window frame 6.
- FIG. 4 shows a further variant, roughly corresponding to FIG. 1, but this time with adhesive film strips 5 (again, as in Example 3 without a handle shown), glued to a window frame 6, the flat first leg 1 being designed here as a base plate 9, to which the entire further hook part 10 can be attached or detached by means of latching connections 11.
- the leg 2 forms an acute angle of 45 ° with the window frame 6.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a hook for fly screens and its use for this purpose.
Fly screens are known and are used at building openings such as Window frames etc. fastened with mushroom tapes. In the case of elastic fly screens, these can be fastened using hooks or holding pins with screws or nails. The disadvantage here is that damage can occur to the window frame as well as to the sensitive fly screen. In addition, attaching to window frames made of metal or plastic is difficult or not possible, while plugs or the like are necessary for plaster base or masonry. There are also disadvantages with so-called mushroom tapes for attaching fly screens, e.g. quick removal is not possible while certain windows e.g. Skylights that are equipped in this way can no longer be opened completely.
A disadvantage of many of the known fastenings is that the screen is not close enough to the frame, so that insects can overcome the obstacle.
The object of the invention was to remedy this.
- a) two adjacent areas forming the two bars (1, 2), of which
- b) the first leg (1) is flat and can be glued to a flat surface, while
- c) the second leg (2) is angled from the flat, first leg (1) such that it forms an acute angle with the first leg (1) when viewed from the side.
A hook is advantageous in which the first leg (1) is square or angular with a pointed end (4).
A hook in which the second leg (2) is flat and has rounded corners is also advantageous.
A hook in which the acute angle is 5-89 °, in particular 30-45 °, is also advantageous.
Another advantage is a hook, which is in the form of an angled plate.
The invention also relates to the use of a hook described above for the reversible fastening of an elastic fly screen or the like, characterized in that such a hook is glued to the 4 corners of a window or door frame in such a way that their second, angled legs point diagonally outward so that the hem of a mosquito net can be stretched over it.
In such a use, it is preferred that a fly screen is used which is elastic overall and / or whose hem is elastic.
It is further preferred in such a use that the first leg is equipped with a self-adhesive film that removes the tension in a reversible manner.
It is further preferred in such a use that a handle overlaps a self-adhesive film that is detachable under tension above the first leg.
It is further preferred in such a use that the handle protrudes hidden behind the second leg.
The elasticity of the fly screen can be caused in particular by an elastic band on the net edge or also by inherent material properties of the net. In the latter case, e.g. trade nylon.
Suitable materials for the hooks according to the invention are e.g. Plastic (transparent or opaque): polyolefins such as PE, PP, PS, ABS; Polyester; Polyamides; PMMA, polycarbonate; PVC or Formica, but also wood, raw and all varnished / glazed types, glass, metal or anodized.
The angled plate shape is particularly advantageous for the hooks according to the invention. This hook shape minimizes the distance between the wall and the net edge. A minimum distance between the edge of the net and the wall is an essential prerequisite for an optimal protective function of the fly screen. Furthermore, this hook shape in combination with an elastic fly screen means that the net automatically clings to the wall.
An acute angle is necessary, especially between ≥ 5 ° and <90 °.
The basic shape of the hook is advantageously adapted to the tesa poster strips. The adhesive properties of the tesa poster strip are particularly suitable for such bonds, namely rough adhesive substrates, e.g. Woodchip. And the intended load limit of up to 300 g is also sufficient for such bonding.
The hooks according to the invention can be glued in the customary manner, in particular with double-sided adhesive tapes, such as foam fixes, film fixes or also strapless systems, but only develop their full qualities together with adhesive films which remove the tension, as described in DE 33 31 016 C2 are, but also in US 4,024,312, WO 92/11332, WO 92/11333, DE 42 22 849 A1, WO 95/06691, DE 44 28 587 A1 and DE 44 31 914 A1.
Hooks with self-adhesive films of this type which are detachable on tension are also known, for example from DE 42 33 872 A1 and WO 94/21157, but such hooks are not suitable for fly screens.
Finally, the hooks according to the invention can also be glued using the technology according to DE 43 39 604 A1, provided that only sufficient loading capacity is provided.
Reference is made to all of these publications with regard to the self-adhesive film which can be used, those according to DE 33 31 016 C2 being particularly preferred and being commercially available as tesa power strips or tesa poster strips. The latter with a shaped tip are particularly suitable, the shape of the hook preferably being adapted to this tapered shape of a poster strip.
The shaped tip promotes a residue-free and gentle removal of the poster strip, even from sensitive surfaces such as This is advantageous for woodchip wallpaper, and for gluing in the window frame area.
In the simplest case of attachment, 4 hooks are glued to the 4 corners of a window frame. The elastic fly screen can then be stretched over the hooks. Due to the shape of the hook and the elasticity of the fly screen, the net clings to the surface.
With larger dimensions of a fly screen, 4 hooks can be used in the middle on each side of the window frame to guide the net edge, if necessary only one hook on the long sides, e.g. a door.
Finally, hooks in the color of the installed fly screen enable an almost invisible fastening behind the tensioned fly screen.
In the following, the invention will be explained with the aid of examples, but without wishing to restrict it unnecessarily.
The basis is a piece of aluminum sheet 40 mm long, 20 mm wide and 1.5 mm thick. At one end both corners are rounded (punched). The end with the rounded corners is bent over an imaginary line at a distance of 15 mm from this end by an angle of 40 ° (this line is designated by A in FIG. 2 and shown in dotted lines). The remaining area of 25 mm in length remains flat and is glued to a
Such a hook is glued in all 4 corners of the window frame, the bent parts or
A part formed as in Example 1 is made of polystyrene as an injection molded part. For the rest, reference is made to Example 1.
In Fig. 3 a further embodiment of a hook according to the invention is shown, seen from the side, with a flat first leg 1, adhesive film strip 5 (although a handle as shown in Example 1 is not shown, but may advantageously be present), glued to a
Der Schenkel 2 bildet mit dem Fensterrahmen 6 einen spitzen Winkel von 45°.4 shows a further variant, roughly corresponding to FIG. 1, but this time with adhesive film strips 5 (again, as in Example 3 without a handle shown), glued to a
