Claims (16)

  1. Vacuum cleaner telescopic pipe with an adjustable current conduction device which comprises at least two pipe sections (1a and 1b) which can be pushed into one another, wherein a first cable cover (3) is mechanically coupled externally to an outer pipe section (1a) and a second cable cover (4) is mechanically coupled externally to an inner pipe section (1b) and the cable covers are provided at mutually opposite ends thereof each with a respective electrical plug device (12 or 22), the first cable cover (3) being provided at its inner wall with at least two electrically conductive tracks (10) connected with its plug device (12) and the second cable cover (4) having a number, which corresponds with the number of electrically conductive tracks (10), of wiper contacts (17) which are connected with its plug device (21) and which slide along the tracks (10) during adjustment of the cable covers (3 and 4), characterised in that the first cable cover (3) is constructed as a circumferentially closed first tubular member (3) which is mechanically coupled with the outer pipe section (1a) and the second cable cover (4) is constructed as a circumferentially closed second tubular member (4) which is mechanically coupled with the inner pipe section (1b).
  2. Current conduction device according to claim 1, characterised in that the tubular members (3 and 4) are detachably coupled with the vacuum cleaner telescopic pipe.
  3. Current conduction device according to claim 1, characterised in that the first tubular member (3) consists of two U-shaped rails (5, 7) able to be joined together.
  4. Current conduction device according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the first tubular member (3) is provided at both ends with coupling elements (24) which interfit with corresponding coupling elements (25) provided at the vacuum cleaner telescopic tube (1).
  5. Current conduction device according to claim 4, characterised in that outwardly facing ribs (24) are provided as coupling elements at the first tubular member (3) and are insertable into groove-like recesses (25) provided at the vacuum cleaner telescopic pipe (1).
  6. Current conduction device according to claim 3, characterised in that contact pins (12) are provided at one end of the inwardly disposed U-shaped rail (7) and are guided in bores (14) of a transverse strip (13) connecting the two mutually opposite limb walls (9) of the rail (7).
  7. Current conduction device according to claim 6, characterised in that the contact pins (12) are provided with terminal lugs (15) which are pressed against the electrically conductive tracks (10) by a presser element (16) provided at the outwardly disposed U-shaped rail (5).
  8. Current conduction device according to claim 1 or 3, characterised in that an electrically conductive coating is applied as electrically conductive tracks (10) to the mutually opposite limb walls (9) of the inwardly disposed U-shaped rail (7).
  9. Current conduction device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a plug device (21) is arranged at one end of the second tubular member (4) and the wiper contacts (17) are arranged at the other end of that member.
  10. Current conduction device according to claim 9, characterised in that the wiper contacts (17) are arranged at a separate carrier member (18) which can be plugged on at the opening of the second tubular member (4).
  11. Current conduction device according to claim 9, characterised in that a contact bush (21) electrically conductively connected with the wiper contacts (17) is mounted at the other end of the second tubular member (4).
  12. Current conduction device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that plug strips (26) are constructed at the free end of the second tubular member (4) at the outer circumference thereof and fit in corresponding receiving grooves (27) formed at the connecting stub pipe (22) of a cleaning tool able to be plugged onto the telescopic pipe (1).
  13. Adjustable current conduction device for a vacuum cleaner telescopic pipe, with at least two pipe sections (1a, 1b) which can be pushed into one another, wherein a first cable cover (3) constructed as a circumferentially closed first tubular member (3a) is mechanically coupled to the outer pipe section (1 a) and a second cable cover (4) constructed as a circumferentially closed second tubular member (4a) is mechanically coupled to the inner pipe section (1b) and a multi-core electrical cable (41) is laid in the interior space of the tubular members (3a, 4a) and is formed as a helix (46) at least in the cable part arranged in the first tubular member (3a), characterised in that the cable covers (3, 4) can be externally coupled to the pipe sections (1a, 1b) and are provided at the mutually opposite ends thereof each with a respective electrical plug device (12 or 21).
  14. Current conduction device according to claim 13, characterised in that the cable covers (3, 4) are removably coupled with the vacuum cleaner telescopic pipe.
  15. Current conduction device according to claim 13 or 14, characterised in that the cable part formed as a helix (46) is fixedly clamped by means of a clamping element (39 or 43) in tension-relieving manner not only in the region of the end (11) of the first tubular member (3a) provided with the plug device (12), but also in the region of the end (42) of the second tubular member (4a) inserted into the first tubular member (3a).
  16. Current conduction device according to claim 15, characterised in that the clamping element (39 or 43) is constructed as a stopper which consists of resilient material and which has a passage opening (40) for the cable (41), in which the cable (41) is fixedly clamped on introduction of the stopper into the tubular members (3a, 4a).
