Abstract

Bei einem Brenner zum Betrieb einer Brennkammer, der im wesentlichen aus einem Drallerzeuger (100), einer dem Drallerzeuger nachgeschalteten Mischstrecke (220) besteht, wobei diese Mischstrecke stromauf einer Brennkammer (30) wirkt, wird die von dem Drallerzeuger (100) induzierte Drallströmung über Uebergangskanäle (201) in die Mischstrecke (220) eingeleitet. Am Ausgang eines zur Mischstrecke (220) gehörenden Mischrohres (20) wird dessen Brennerfront (70) brennkammerseitig mit mindestens einer torusähnlicher Einkerbung (71) versehen. Damit lässt sich die Stabilität der Rückströmzone (50) verstärken, was sich unter allen Aspekten auf die Verbrennung positiv auswirkt.
