Description
Hyperextens ons-Orthese in Rahmenbauweise Hyperextens ons orthosis in frame construction
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Hyperextensions-Or- these in Rahmeπbauweice gemäß Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.The invention relates to a hyperextension orthosis in frame construction structure according to the preamble of claim 1.
Orthoses of this type are used, inter alia, for traumatic compression fractures in the lumbar and thoracolumbar region as well as in the thoracic region, for adolescent kyphosis and for osteoporas, and for postoperative purposes to stabilize the patient and prevent certain harmful movements of the patient. such as inclinical or rotating movements of the spine - and to relieve the spinal column leading edges.
At the same time, lateral sideways movements should also be restricted.
The known orthoses of this type have a 3-point system with a pad on the sternum, on the pubic bone and on the thoraco-lumbar transition. The adaptation to the individual proportions takes place via linkage elements which can be displaced relative to one another and which are firmly connected to one another by means of removable screws are. Since the rods and thus the screws are under tension, adjusting the rod elements is not without problems. When loosening the screws are often thrown away in an almost explosive manner. Because of this known construction with its problems, three to five different sizes are necessary.
The invention has for its object to provide an orthosis of the type mentioned, which ensures a safe elimination of undesirable and harmful movements of the patient and yet - starting from only one orthosis size if possible - easy, infinitely variable adjustment to the respective individual size. Conditions or angle assignments of the patient are made possible.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1.
Es zeigen:The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing figures, for example. Show it:
Fig. 1 eine vereinfachte prinzipielle Darstellung einer Rahmenorthese mit zwei Druckpelotten kurz unterhalb der jeweiligen Schlüssel¬ beine,1 shows a simplified basic illustration of a frame orthosis with two pressure pads shortly below the respective clavicles,
Fig. 2 eine prinzipielle Darstellung zweier über Langlöcher längsverschiebbarer Gestänge¬ elemente mit Führungskörper,2 shows a basic illustration of two linkage elements with guide bodies that can be displaced longitudinally via elongated holes,
Fig. 4 eine perspektivische Darstellung einer Varianten der Hypere tensions-Orthese .Fig. 3 shows a cross section along the line III-III - of Fig. 2 and Fig. 4 is a perspective view of a variant of the hypere tension orthosis.
Zudem können Läsionen bis in eine Höhe des achten Brustwirbels versorgt wer¬ den .As can be seen in FIG. 1, in the hyperextension orthosis 10 according to the invention, deviating from the previously customary arrangement, pressure points with pads 11, 12 are provided not just on the sternum, but rather just below the two clavicles above. This more effectively prevents the patient from performing inclining or rotating movements of the vertebral segments. At the same time, lateral frame movements are restricted by the frame orthosis. In addition, lesions can be cared for up to a height of the eighth thoracic vertebra.
In practice, the easy and stepless adjustment of the linkage elements 13, 14 in their longitudinal direction and thus a slight adjustment to the individual size of the patient are of particular importance.
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the upper 13 and lower linkage elements 14 have elongated holes 15 through which, according to FIG. 3, outer guide cylinders 16 of the locking screws 17 protrude with a slight snug fit. Inside, the guide cylinders 16 of the locking screws 17 are provided with a thread which engages around a threaded pin 18 which engages into the guide cylinder 16 from the other side. This setscrew 18 has a multiple of the length required to loosen the locking screw 17. The locking screw 17 can therefore be regarded as “captive” since only a fraction of a turn of the locking screw 17 is required to release the locking device Coverage of the threads of the locking screw 17 and threaded pin 18 but is several threads.
In principle, it can also be prevented by suitable stops or other suitable movement restrictions that the locking screw 17 unintentionally loosens from the threaded pin 18.
Of course, the functions of the setscrew 18 and the locking screw 17 can also be interchanged, i.e. the locking takes place via an adjustment of the threaded pin 18.
The measures described above rule out that the locking screws 17 or setscrews 18 are thrown out explosively under the influence of the tensions acting on them when they are loosened.
Other safeguards for the locking screws 17 can also be provided, for example adjustment limits.
The adjustment mechanisms described above are available several times on the frame orthosis. They can be selected to adapt the frame orthosis in length / height and width to the respective individual needs.
The back pad 19 can also be connected to the front part of the frame orthosis via a relatively stiff band or a corresponding belt.
It is extremely important that the essential purpose, namely to exclude the inclining or rotating movement of the spinal segments, is in any case is guaranteed and, if necessary, relief of the front edges of the spinal column is achieved. The individual adjustment of the lengths of the individual frame parts of the orthosis takes place in that the rod elements 13, 14 located in a receiving block 20 are pushed into and removed from the receiving block 20 in accordance with the individual requirements. so that overall height and width can be individually adjusted. For this purpose, the adjusting screws 17 already explained earlier are first loosened. The linkage elements 13 and 14 can then be moved relative to the receiving block 20. As soon as the correct setting is reached, this is fixed by tightening the locking screws 17.
Such an arrangement can be provided several times on the frame orthosis, so that overall height, width, depth and angle can be individually adjusted.
The maximum possibility of movement of the linkage elements 13 and 14 is limited by the predetermined expansion of the elongated holes 15. This also ensures that the linkage elements 13 and 14 cannot be pulled out of the receiving block 20 unintentionally.
All parts of the threaded connections are expediently provided with a uniform screw system, ie with the same threads, so that they can also be interchanged if necessary.
The linkage elements can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically.
The reclining pads are adjustable in height and angle up to 20 degrees. The chest and pelvic arm are tilted using a more or less fine-pitched grid setting that is selected according to the respective needs.
In order to reduce the weight of the orthosis on the one hand and to stabilize the bending elasticity on the other hand, the rod elements can have cutouts in their longitudinal direction and, if necessary, also deviate therefrom.
A sufficient tilting movement of the sy physe pad can be achieved by an elastic plastic web.
Die Seitenpolster können auswechselbar sein. Dies wird zweckmäßigerweise über Klett erbindungen erreicht. The side pads can be exchangeable. This is conveniently achieved through Velcro connections.
In order to achieve a reproducible setting both in the longitudinal direction and in the angle settings, corresponding divisions for longitudinal movement and angle can be provided.
