Claims (7)

  1. A home exerciser, for example of the type of a home bike, comprising a frame (1) and a pedal-operated drive, for example a pedal wheel (21), with actuation of the disk (24) of an eddy current brake deriving from the pedal-operated drive, and with at least the bearing (30) for the disk (24) of the eddy current brake and the electromagnet (29) being disposed on a joint mounting plate (31), characterized in that the mounting plate (31) is joined to the frame (1) via shock absorber arrangements (39).
  2. A home exerciser according to claim 1, characterized in that the shock absorber arrangements (39) are flexible buffers, in particular rubber buffers.
  3. A home exerciser according to claim 1, characterized in that rubber buffers are disposed vertically between the frame (1) and the mounting plate (31) on the one hand, and in that rubber buffers of horizontal action are disposed between the mounting plate (31) and the frame (1) or a frame member on the other hand.
  4. A home exerciser according to claim 1, characterized in that vertical bolts (41) are provided on the frame (1), passing through guide recesses (holes 40) of the mounting plate (31).
  5. A home exerciser according to claim 4, characterized in that the bolts (41) are provided with a counter nut (42) on their free end.
  6. A home exerciser according to claim 1, characterized in that the mounting plate (31) has a hole (33) where the bearing block (32) for seating the ball bearing (30) is glued in place.
  7. A home exerciser according to claim 1, characterized in that metal bars (35, 37) are attached to the top and bottom side of the mounting plate (31) which are approximately Z-shaped in cross section, extending forwards and backwards, respectively.
