Abstract

The shower comprises an electric circulating pump (3) with a suction intake pipe (4), dry-running switch-off device (11) and preferably a quantity control (12) and switch-on heater (15) all set in a water-tight housing (1). The pump can be operated by a foot switch. The suction intake pipe opens in at the bottom of the housing, preferably spaced from the standing surface by feet (6) whilst a pressure connection opens out at the top of the housing so that a riser pipe (9) can be detachably connected with it. The riser has a pipe bend (10) and nozzle for delivering the water spray.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Duschvorrichtung mit von einem Wasserleitungssystem unabhängiger Speisung, insbesondere aus einem wassergefüllten Becken. Duschen sind gewöhnlich im Badezimmer im Wannenbereich oder innerhalb einer Duschkabine an das hauseigene oder kommunale Wasserleitungssystem angeschlossen. Eine besondere Ausführungsform ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Förderleistung der Umwälzpumpe 20 000 bis 60 000 l/h und der Steigrohrdurchmesser bzw. der Durchmesser des Mundstückes 50 bis 100 mm beträgt. Diese Duschvorrichtung ist leicht transportabel und vereinigt sämtliche Bauteile in einem Gehäuse. Sie ist wassersparend, da sie vorhandenes Wasser umwälzt und hat den Vorteil, daß die Fördermenge ein Vielfaches der üblicherweise durch eine Wasserleitung geförderte Menge betragen kann, sodaß sich ein Schwallduscheffekt in der Art eines Wasserfalls einstellt. Die Duschvorrichtung kann in der etwa zu einem Drittel gefüllten Badewanne als Schwalldusche ergänzend zur üblichen Brause, in der Brausetasse bei geschlossenem Ablauf (eingesetztem Überlaufrohr) oder aber im Freien verwendet werden. Für den Schwalleffekt ist es zweckmäßig, ein Steigrohr mit mindestens 50 mm Durchmesser einzusetzen und nach dem Krümmer (Bogenstück etwa 180°) auf jedes Endstück in Sieb- oder Düsenform zu verzichten.
