  • the master key M is the same length as the normal key C, which means that key manufacture can be standardized.
  • the common key C and the master key M both turn in the same direction, clockwise in the present instance, so there will be no confusion over which way they should be turned.
  • the lock offers a twofold security in the disabled position (the 180° position) because, as already seen, the common key C will not fit all the way into the keyway and, if illicitly modified by cutting the cut as in the master key, it still cannot release the plug because the pins will still trap it, and hence the lock cannot be re-enabled.
  • the insert 33 prevents communication between the keyway 16 and the bolt 29 so that the bolt cannot be accessed through the keyway with a tool designed to operate the bolt without authorization. That is an additional security.

Claims (6)

  1. System mit einem Zylinderschloss, einem Nebenschlüssel (C) und einem Hauptschlüssel (M) zum Sperren des Zylinderschlosses,
       wobei das Zylinderschloss einen Zylinder (10) mit einem drehbaren Kern (12), der einen Riegel (29) betätigt, der in einem von dem Zylinder (10) geformten Sitz (28) eingebettet ist und der zwischen einer vorragenden, d.h. geschlossenen Position, und einer zurückgezogen, d.h. offenen Position, bewegt werden kann, umfaßt,
       wobei das Zylinderschloss weiterhin in dem Zylinder (10) und in dem Kern (12) aufgenommene federbelastete Stifte (17, 18, 19), die den Kern (12) innerhalb des Zylinders (10) unbewegbar machen und in eine Freigabeposition mittels eines Nebenschlüssels (C) oder mittels des Hauptschlüssel (M) bewegt werden können, um eine Drehung des Kerns (12) zu gestatten und den Riegel (29) zu betätigen, umfaßt,
       wobei der Hauptschlüssel (M) befähigt ist, den Kern (12) aus einer ersten Winkelposition, in der der Riegel (29) geschlossen ist, der Kern (12) jedoch freigegeben werden kann und der Riegel (29) entweder mit dem Nebenschlüssel (C) oder mit dem Hauptschlüssel (M) zurückbewegt werden kann, in eine zweite Winkelposition zu drehen, in der der Riegel (29) in der geschlossenen Position ist, aber der Kern (12) freigegeben werden kann und der Riegel (29) in die offene Position nur mit dem Hauptschlüssel (M) zurückbewegt werden kann,
       wobei ein Blockierteil (27) fest in dem Zylinder (10) angeordnet ist und eine in dem Kern (12) geformte Kerbe (26) sich durch die Nabennut (16) erstreckt,
       wobei das Blockierteil (27) in die Kerbe (26) eintritt und in die Nabennut (16) des Kerns (12) mit einer solchen Verbindung vorspringt vorspringt, dass der Kern (12) gedreht werden kann,
       wobei der Nebenschlüssel (C) beim Drehen des Kerns (12) von der ersten Winkelposition zu der zweiten Winkelposition und, wenn der Nebenschlüssel (C) in der zweiten Winkelposition in die Nabennut (16) eingeführt wird, bevor er das Ende der Nabennut (16) erreicht hat, mittels dem Blockierteil (27) gestoppt wird,
       wobei der Hauptschlüssel (M) einen zu dem Blockierteil (27) entsprechenden Ausschnitt (36) aufweist, so dass er es, während der Kern (12) von der ersten Winkelposition zu der zweiten Winkelposition gedreht .wird, passieren kann und er in der zweiten Winkelposition vollständig in die Nabennut (16) des Kerns (12) eingeführt werden kann.
  2. System nach Anspruch 1, wobei in der ersten Winkelposition eine erste Stiftkombination (18, 19) bereitgestellt wird, die durch den Nebenschlüssel (C) in der Freigabeposition ausgerichtet werden kann, und eine zweite Stiftkombination (17, 18), die nur durch den Hauptschlüsse (M) in der Freigabeposition ausgerichtet werden kann, wobei die zweite Winkelposition ein Kombination der Stifte (17, 22) entsprechend der zweiten Stiftkombination darstellt.
  3. System nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das Blockierteil (27) aus einem in dem Zylinder (10) befestigten und in der in dem Kern (12) geformten Kerbe (26) aufgenommenen radialen Bolzen (27) besteht.
  4. System nach Anspruch 1 oder 3, wobei das Blockierteil (27) am Ende der Nabennut (16) angeordnet ist und der entsprechende Ausschnitt (36) des Hauptschlüssels (M) am Ende des Schlüssels angeordnet ist.
  5. System nach Anspruch 3 oder 4, wobei sich die Kerbe (26) in einem Kreisbogen erstreckt, der die Drehung des Kerns (12) zwischen den ersten und zweiten Winkelpositionen definiert.
  6. System nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei der Riegel (29) mit der Nabennut (16) in Verbindung steht, wobei an dem Ende der Nabennut (16) ein geformter Einsatz (33) vorhanden ist, der die Verbindung der Nabennut (16) und dem Sitz (28) verhindert.
