Abstract

The mechanism locks first or second points tongues (ANZ,ABZ) against respective fixed rails (S), having a locking body (VK) with links to the tongues. The stirrup (VB) is coupled by pull rods (ZST) to the tongues, and has first and second recesses. A dog on a slide (SH) driven by the points-actuating mechanism engages in the first recess, and a dog on the locking body engages in the second one. A guide plate (FP) can be provided, preferably fixed to the locking body, and contains a guide channel (FK) for the slide. After reaching each end position this presses the stirrup against the dog on the locking body.

Description

The present invention relates to a device according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

To secure switch tongues, railway switches are equipped with locking devices, e.g. R. Hämmerli, The principles of safety systems for railway operations, published by the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB Kr I), edition from February 1990, Volume 1, pages 85-92 are described (for further information on turnout technology see loc. Cit., Pages 66-80 ). The locking devices are used in particular to move the switch tongues and to support the switch tongue against the stick rail. The JUEDEL system shown in Fig. 6 is generally used for the Swiss Federal Railways. The locking device of the JUEDEL system has a locking body JVK, which is provided for (alternately) supporting stamps JST1 and JST2, by means of which the switch tongues ANZ, ABZ are pressed against the stick rail S (ANZ is the momentarily applied, ABZ the currently remote switch tongue ). The stamps JST1 and JST2 are connected to one another via a rocker JSW or two rocker arms JSWH1, JSWH2. The rocker JSW, which is connected to the locking body JVK via a further lever JDH, is actuated by an adjusting rod JSS, which is connected to a drive located outside the switch. In contrast to other e.g. Systems known from EP 0 624 508 A1, in which a locking device is to be provided for each switch tongue, the system JUEDEL has the advantage that only one locking device is required for both switch tongues ABZ and ANZ, which can be arranged centrally between the stick rails . A disadvantage of the JUEDEL system is that the relatively complex construction of the lock with three jacks JDH, JSWH1, JSWH2 and two stamps JST1, JST2 requires very precise manufacture and adjustment. Furthermore, this system also requires a drive outside the switch through which the actuating rod JSS is actuated. In particular, this drive, which is located next to the track or next to the switch, requires free space which is scarcely available in various traffic networks, in particular in subways.

The present invention is therefore based on the object of providing an inexpensive and easy-to-use closure device which can be installed without problems even with a small amount of space.

This object is achieved by the measures specified in the characterizing part of patent claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in further claims.

The closure device according to the invention, which has only a few moving parts, can be manufactured and maintained inexpensively. The locking process is simple and reliable. Minor dimensional deviations that arise during manufacture or during operation are not critical. It is particularly advantageous that the element effecting the locking (FIG. 1, slide SH) is moved straight and, unlike in the JUEDEL system, along a circular path. This can this locking element can be moved easily from outside the switch as well as by a drive system provided inside the switch.

Dadurch kann die gesamte Verschlussvorrichtung auf wenige Einzelteile reduziert werden.1 shows the closure device according to the invention, installed between two pole rails S mounted on cross sleepers QS, against which two switch tongues ANZ and ABZ are pressed alternately such that the switch tongue ANZ in question is firmly connected to the flank of the associated pole rail S. The switch tongues ANZ and ABZ are connected via a pull rod ZST provided on both sides with a joint G to a locking bracket VB which is guided by a slide SH in a guide channel FK provided in a guide plate FP. 3 and 5 show that the slide SH, which is guided along a straight line, has a tooth SZ through which a non-positive connection between the slide SH and the locking bracket VB can be created. The locking bracket VB has a preferably trapezoidal first recess VBN1 for receiving the sliding tooth SZ (see FIG. 5). By moving the slide SH, with a non-positive connection between the slide SH and the locking bracket VB, the switch tongues ANZ and ABZ can therefore be moved relative to the stick rails S. In order to prevent lifting of the adjacent switch tongue ANZ from the stick rail S, a closure body VK is additionally provided which has a closure tooth VZ which projects into a second, preferably trapezoidal recess VBN1 provided in the closure bracket VB. The locking tooth VZ and the sliding tooth SZ act from two sides on the locking bracket VB with the preferably opposite recesses VBN1 and VBN2 such that, as shown in FIGS. 4a, 4b and 4c, one of the teeth VZ or SZ alternately in a non-positive connection with the locking bracket VB. The first recess VBN1 is preferably provided for the complete reception of the sliding tooth (SZ) and the second recess VBN2 only for the partial reception of the locking tooth VZ. This results in a tilting of the locking bracket VB, through which the locking is achieved. When the locking bracket VB is guided from one stop to another, as shown in FIG. 4b, there is a non-positive connection between the slide tooth SZ and the locking bracket VB, which is only released after the switch tongue ANZ has reached the flank of the pole rail S. The flank NFL2 of the second recess VBN2 then slides over the corresponding flank of the locking tooth VZ, as a result of which a non-positive connection is created between the locking tooth VZ and the locking bracket VB, by means of which the adjacent switch tongue ANZ locks becomes. Simultaneously with this process, the locking bracket VB tilts over the locking tooth VZ, after which the flank NFL1 of the first recess VBN1 gets out of contact with the sliding tooth SZ. After releasing the non-positive connection (non-positive in relation to forces running parallel to the slide SH) between the slide tooth SZ and the locking bracket VB, the sliding tooth SZ slides over the upper edge OK1 of the first recess VBN1 and thus presses the locking bracket VB against the locking body VK. As shown in FIGS. 4a and 4c, the sliding tooth SZ can be continued on the upper edge OK1 of the first recess VBN1 without the closing process being impaired thereby. This overflow allows the slide SH to be guided without problems, the end stops of which may vary approximately according to half the length of the slide tooth SZ, which is preferably selected in accordance with the desired overflow. The drive of the slide SH guided along a straight line is therefore problem-free. 6, the slide SH can therefore be actuated by a drive rod AS (see FIG. 2) which is arranged next to the switch. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the slide SH is moved by an electric or pneumatic drive (FZ, AK, UH1, DH, DHA, UH2) which is arranged within the switch or between the stick rails S and the switch tongues ANZ, ABZ . 1, a cylinder FZ is provided for this purpose, which is provided in a known manner for selectively ejecting or tightening a drive piston AK, by means of a first deflection lever UH1 and a rotary lever DH rotating about an axis DHA, and a second deflection lever UH2 of the slide SH is driven. The drive can be pneumatic or electric. For example, a toothed wheel SZR (see FIG. 5) driven by an electric motor EM can also be provided, by means of which the toothed slide ZSH is moved. As a result, the entire closure device can be reduced to a few individual parts.

The closure body VK is preferably selected such that it can be equipped with different closure teeth VZ. It is also particularly advantageous that different slides SH can be selected with different slider teeth SZ without the dimensions of the drive rods or levers used having to be changed. The closure device according to the invention can therefore be adapted to the present circumstances with a few measures.

The guide plate FP provided with the guide channel FK, which is preferably attached to two adjacent sleepers QS, serves to receive the bearing for the axis DHA of the rotary lever DH. The closure body VK can be integrated in the guide plate FP or screwed onto it.
