Abstract

Zur Herstellung eines brandsicheren elektrischen Kabels oder einer brandsicheren elektrischen Leitung mit zumindest einer einen elektrischen Leiter (3) und eine Isolierung (9) aufweisenden Ader (13), wenigstens einer Schicht (5) eines flammhemmenden Materials (7) und einem Außenmantel (11) wird auf eine mit der Schicht (5) flammhemmenden Materials (7) zu versehene Oberfläche ein Klebemittel (23) aufgebracht und im gleichen Arbeitsgang die Oberfläche mit dem flammhemmenden Material (7) beflockt. Durch dieses Verfahren sind auf einfache Art und Weise und mit hoher Fertigungsgeschwindigkeit brandsichere elektrische Kabel und Leitungen herstellbar, die im Brandfall noch über eine längere Zeit funktionstüchtig bleiben (Fig. 4).
