Abstract

The coupling (3) between the rotor pot of an open end spinner, and the carrier, is a clip bond which holds part of the rotor pot (11) and part of the carrier (12). At least part of the clip bonding is taken up by an elastic component (2). Preferably the elastic component (2) is damped, and is in a ring round the clip coupling (3) at the carrier (12) which has a slit, or a number of slits, to increase the distortion which can be applied to it. The rotor pot (11) has a ring groove (32) as part of the clip coupling. The carrier (12) has a hub (121) structure to be pressed on a rotor shaft (13). The elastic component (2) is firmly bonded to the hub (121). The carrier (12) is an electrical mounting and drive motor, with a limit stop (4) for the rotor pot formed by the elastic component (2). The rotor pot (11) has a counter surface to work with the limit stop (4). The elastic component (2) is of plastics and pref. an elastomer. At least part of the clip coupling is of an aluminium alloy or is an injection moulded component. The clip coupling (3) gives a shaped fit between the rotor shaft (13) and the carrier (12) round the circumference.

Description

The present application relates to an open-end spinning rotor according to the preamble of claim 1. From DE-A 38 15 182 a spinning rotor is known, the rotor pot of which is connected to the carrier part of the rotor shaft via a coupling arrangement. In one embodiment, the coupling consists of two elastic hooks which engage in an undercut on the rotor pot when the rotor pot and rotor shaft are joined together. This undercut is in the form of an oblique surface. When the spinning rotor is in operation, the hooks press on these inclined surfaces due to the centrifugal force, as a result of which the pot of the spinning rotor is pulled in the direction of the carrier part and thus the rotor shaft. In another embodiment, the clutch arrangement is essentially attached to the rotor plate. It consists of a locking element which is guided in a bore formed perpendicular to the rotor axis. When the open-end spinning rotor is at a standstill, the locking elements are unlocked by a spring. The rotor pot is held by a magnet on the carrier part or rotor shaft. If the open-end spinning rotor is rotated, the locking elements emerge from the bores in which they are guided as a result of the centrifugal forces and lock the rotor pot and the carrier part receiving it. From DE-A 43 42 539 an open-end spinning rotor is known, in which the rotor pot is fastened on a base body which supports and drives it and is designed as an electric rotor, in that a type of screw connection is provided.

These embodiments of open-end spinning rotors have the disadvantage that the connection between the rotor pot and a carrier part receiving it is complex and cost-intensive. The object of the present application is to avoid the disadvantages of the prior art and to propose an open-end spinning rotor which is simpler in construction and less expensive to manufacture, and while ensuring a safe and easy assembly of the rotor pot. The present object is achieved by the features of patent claim 1.

Due to the inventive design of the proposed open-end spinning rotor, in which the coupling is a clip connection, the use of an elastic element on at least part of the clip connection ensures that it has the necessary deformability for the assembly of the rotor pot and at the same time achieves that the Clip connection ensures a secure hold. At the same time it is achieved that at least part of the clip connection can be received by the elastic element itself, that the coupling is simple and easy to manufacture. At the same time, the elastic element ensures that vibrations that are transmitted to the spinning rotor via the carrier part or vibrations that are generated by an imbalance of the rotor pot do not burden the other part of the open-end spinning rotor with vibrations, or that the vibrations are caused by the elastic Element can be damped. The elastic element also has the advantage that the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the spinning rotor during operation ensures that the clip connection holds together even more firmly. It is particularly advantageous if at least part of the clip connection encompasses the elastic element in a ring. This makes it possible to securely fasten it with a large area on the elastic element. This can be done, for example, by gluing or during the shaping of the elastic element. It is particularly advantageous if part of the clip connection encompasses the elastic element in a ring when it is slotted. This increases its deformability so that the rotor pot can be more easily connected to the carrier part. It is particularly advantageous if several slots are provided. The part of the clip connection attached to the rotor pot is particularly advantageously designed as an annular groove which can be introduced into the rotor pot in a simple manner, for example by machining. The design of the carrier part as a hub forms a further advantageous embodiment of the invention. The carrier part can then be pressed onto a rotor shaft in a particularly simple manner. As a result, the part of the coupling which is not located on the rotor pot can advantageously be produced separately and then, for example, on the part of the open-end spinning rotor, which takes care of the storage and the drive, are pressed on. This can be a rotor shaft, for example, or advantageously also the part of an electrical bearing and drive rotor. The carrier part is advantageously formed with a stop on which the rotor pot is axially supported. This can ensure that the rotor plate can be connected to the carrier part in a precisely positioned position. Any dimensional deviations that occur in the area of the clip connection can be compensated. For this purpose, the rotor pot has a counter surface that works together with the stop of the support part. When designing the elastic element from a plastic, this can be produced in a simple and inexpensive manner. It is also easy to connect this to the carrier part or, for example, also to the rotor plate. In addition, plastic has the favorable property that it has a particularly good damping effect. An elastomer is particularly suitable as a plastic. In a further advantageous embodiment of the clip connection, at least part of it is made of an aluminum alloy. This makes it possible to produce it in a simple operation. It is particularly cheap because it is accurate and quick to manufacture and is designed as an injection molded part. In a particularly advantageous further development of the invention, the coupling connects the rotor pot and the rotor shaft or another support part of the rotor pot with one another in a form-fitting manner in the circumferential direction. This can advantageously ensure that there is no relative movement in the circumferential direction between the rotor shaft and the rotor pot. This is particularly important when accelerating the spinning rotor and braking it to a standstill.

The invention is described below with the aid of graphic representations. Show it:

The open-end spinning rotor 1 of FIG. 1 consists of a rotor pot 11, a carrier part 12 and a shaft 13, via which the spinning rotor 1 in a known manner, for example, supported by support disks and driven, for example, by a tangential belt. The carrier part 12 consists of a hub 121 which is applied to the rotor shaft 13 by means of a press connection. The hub 121 carries an elastic element 2 on its outer circumference. This is firmly connected to the hub 121, for example by means of an adhesive connection. The elastic element 2 can be made of plastic or rubber, for example. On its outer circumference, the elastic element 2 carries part of the coupling 3, via which the rotor pot 11 is connected to the carrier part 12. The clutch 3 here consists of the nose 31, which cooperates with a circumferential groove 32, which is attached to the rotor pot 11. The coupling 3 is designed as a clip connection, so that the rotor pot 11 can be attached to the carrier part 12 by simply plugging the two components together. Characterized in that the lug 31 is arranged on the elastic element 2, the lug 31 can deflect towards the rotor shaft 13 when the support part and the rotor pot are joined, whereby the edge of the circumferential groove 32 can be pushed over the lug 31 so that a positive connection between nose 31 and circumferential groove 32 results. The nose 31 is part of an annular element 310 which, like the hub 121, is firmly connected to the elastic element 2. The ring-shaped element 310 can have one or more slots in the longitudinal direction of the shaft 13, which results in greater elasticity of the ring-shaped element when the rotor pot and the support part are joined together. The slots can completely cut through the annular element 310, as can be seen in the lower half of FIG. 1 by the missing hatching. However, the slot can equally well only affect the part of the nose 31 of the annular element 310. The annular element 310 can be made of steel, for example, while the rotor pot 11 can be made of aluminum, for example. It encompasses the elastic element 2 on its outer circumference. The slot also serves at the same time as an anti-rotation device acting in the circumferential direction between the rotor pot 11 and the rotor shaft 13. In order to form this stop, the circumferential groove 32 can be interrupted, for example, so that a web extending in the axial direction remains. The same effect, namely the anti-rotation, can also z. B. achieved by means of axially extending pins, each of which partially engage in the rotor cup 11 and, for example, rotor shaft 13 or hub 121.

When operating the open-end spinning rotor 1, it is set in rotation about its axis of rotation, which is the axis of rotation of the shaft 13, speeds of up to 150,000 revolutions per minute being entirely possible. As a result of the centrifugal forces acting on the clutch 3, the annular element 310 is expanded because the elastic element 2 yields to the centrifugal forces. A particularly good connection between the nose 31 and the circumferential groove 32 is thereby achieved. At the same time, however, the connection of the ring-shaped element 310 via the elastic element 2 to the hub 121 provides a connection which can be easily released when the spinning rotor 1 is at a standstill.

The elastic element 2 is fastened here on a hub-shaped extension 122 of the rotor pot 11. The annular element 310 of the coupling 3 is arranged on the elastic element 2.
