Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a circuit breaker with high voltage including for each pole, an envelope cylindrical filled with insulating gas inside which the cut-off members and a resistor are arranged, axially arranged, associated with means for its temporary insertion when closing the circuit breaker.
We have described, in French patent application n ° 79 05 478, a circuit breaker in the breaking chamber of which a resistor and means are provided for inserting temporarily this resistance in the circuit of the circuit breaker during an interlocking operation. These means include a contact integral with the moving part, but mobile relative to the latter. This is the reason which it is designated by semi-mobile contact. Generally, the semi-mobile contact is a part of tungsten chosen massive because it must undergo the shock of a closing operation. This contact therefore has a mass whose proportion in the mass of the moving assembly is important, thereby helping to increase the power of the circuit breaker control. In addition, the contact of closure is very bulky, requiring a large diameter envelope.
However, manufacturers are all looking to reduce the power of the command, so as to decrease the price by returns and operating the circuit breaker.
A first object of the invention is to provide a circuit breaker of the aforementioned type in which the means resistance are reduced, which allows reduce the power of the control.
Another object of the invention is to provide a circuit breaker of the aforementioned type in which the means resistance are reduced in volume, which reduces the diameter of the envelopes used.
The present invention relates to a circuit breaker according to the claims.

- FIGS. 2 to 5 are similar views of the circuit breaker during the different phases of a tripping operation,
- Figures 6 to 7 are similar views of the circuit breaker showing two successive phases of a closing operation.
In what follows, we will describe a circuit breaker pole, it being understood that the invention applies to a three-phase circuit breaker comprising three identical poles.
We will describe an open type circuit breaker pole, but of course the invention applies to circuit breakers with metal shell to earth.
In Fig. 1, reference 1 designates an envelope insulating, for example ceramic, filled with a gas good dielectric properties such as hexafluoride sulfur SF6.
comprising a fixed metal cylinder 2 connected to a
first socket not shown.
To the metal cylinder 2 is fixed a metal tube 7
constituting the fixed main contact of the circuit breaker; at
same cylinder 2 is fixed, by
The
The mobile circuit breaker assembly includes a flange
capot pare-effluves 16A.This metallic flange wears a crown of
Opposite the
intérieurement de contacts glissants 17B.The
portion cylindrique 20.A
The
Note that the
Le fonctionnement du disjoncteur est le suivant. The circuit breaker works as follows.
In normal operating conditions, the circuit breaker is
in the configuration of Fig. 1. The permanent current
goes through the first socket, cylinder 2, the
tube 7, the
Le déclenchement du disjopncteur est produit par le déplacement de l'ensemble mobile, sous l'action de la commande du disjoncteur, non représentée, vers la droite de la Fig.1.The tripping of the circuit breaker is produced by the displacement of the mobile assembly, under the action of the circuit breaker control, not shown, to the right of Fig. 1.
In a first phase, represented in Fig. 2,
the mobile assembly has moved a few tens of mm
to the right. By inertia, and also due to the rise
pressure in the volume V2 behind the
After an additional run of the moving crew,
the
éteint par le soufflage énergique à travers la buse 22.After the separation of the arcing contacts, (Fig. 4), a
arc spurts between these contacts but it's quickly
extinguished by vigorous blowing through
The pressure in volume V2 decreases rapidly and,
under the effect of the spring, the semi-mobile sub-assembly
constituted by the
disjoncteur. At the end of the opening operation, the circuit breaker is,
in the tripped position, in the configuration of Fig. 5.
The voltage is held between the ends of the
A closing operation results in a movement of the moving part to the left.
disjoncteur.It is the
When, the moving assembly continuing its course, the
distance between the respective ends of 9A and 30A of
arcing contacts becomes less than the insulation distance
(Fig. 7), an arc begins between these contacts, which has the
consequence of shorting the
Poursuivant se course, l'ensemble mobile retrouve sa position initiale (Fig.1).Continuing to race, the mobile assembly regains its initial position (Fig. 1).
- reduce the mass of the elements linked to the mobile assembly, which is achieved since the additional masses only come from the extension of the
nozzle 22, the slidingcontacts 18 and thespring 24, which, in total, is very small. - reduce clutter. This problem is solved since the insertion electrode is of smaller diameter than the
corona hood 16A of the crown of themain contact fingers 16.
