Abstract

The wiring arrangement includes four conductors (1) which are insulated (2) e.g. with cellular polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride or a fluorinated polymer, and fitted into the shallow recesses (4) in the four sides of the former (3) which constitutes the core of the cable. Each conductor is secured in position by contact adhesive (5). The recesses may follow a helical path around the former with a pitch corresponding to that required of the twisted conductors for a particular application. The conductors are not encapsulated and retain sufficient flexibility for ease of cabling together with other quads.
