Claims (4)
- Verfahren zum Setzen einer selbstbohrenden oder selbstlochformenden sowie gewindeformenden oder -schneidenden Schraube (1), welche einen Bohrteil oder einen lochformenden Endabschnitt (2) und einen Schaft mit einem selbstformenden bzw. selbstschneidenden Gewinde (3) aufweist, bei dem beim Bohr- bzw. Lochformvorgang durch die Schraube (1) eine in axialer Richtung wirkende, durch bohrhammerartig erzeugte ständige Schlagbewegungen hervorgerufene Schlageinwirkung zugeschaltet wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß einem Drehantrieb für die Schraube (1) beim Bohr- bzw. Lochformvorgang die in axialer Richtung wirkende Schlageinwirkung (6) zugeschaltet wird, und daß beim anschließenden Gewindeform- oder -schneidvorgang die Schlageinwirkung (6) beibehalten oder in ihrer Stärke vermindert oder ganz ausgeschaltet wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verminderung der Stärke der Schlageinwirkung (6) oder deren Ausschaltung unmittelbar nach dem gänzlichen Durchdringen eines Bohrteiles oder eines lochformenden Endabschnittes (2) der Schraube (1) und noch vor einem Eingriff des ersten Gewindeganges in die Bohrung bzw. das Loch (8) erfolgt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Umschaltung von einer axialen Schlageinwirkung (6) auf eine in der Stärke verminderte axiale Schlageinwirkung (6) oder die Ausschaltung der Schlageinwirkung (6) von einer axialen Entlastung unmittelbar nach Beendigung des Bohrvorganges bzw. des Lochformvorganges ausgelöst wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Umschaltung von einer axialen Schlageinwirkung (6) auf eine in ihrer Stärke verminderte axiale Schlageinwirkung (6) oder die Ausschaltung der Schlageinwirkung (6) von einem voreinstellbaren Tiefenanschlag auslösbar ist.
