Description

The invention relates to a device and a method for grinding a set mounted on a support according to the preamble of claims 1 and 14.

Grinding devices of the type specified are For example, for grinding all-steel sets Carding and carding after re-garnishing and re-sharpening worn out sets used. At acquaintances For this purpose, grinding devices become, for example, a grinding element used in the form of a slip ring on a ground transversely to the direction of pressure Hollow shaft is mounted. To carry out the grinding process the slip ring is set in rotation with the hollow shaft. At the same time, the slip ring is inserted into the hollow shaft built-in traversing spindle along the hollow shaft, i.e. Move across the direction of pressure. The drive can over a pulley using an otherwise for the Card drive used motor or with a separate motor respectively. A grinding device is also known, where the slip ring together with one for turning of the slip ring serving motor via toothed belt chains or a spindle drive is moved transversely to the direction of pressure.

In the known grinding devices Grinding element infeed and the pressure of the grinding element against the set with spindles attached to the grinder or a frame of the card or card are attached. A Increasing the delivery dimension has a corresponding increase of the removal on the clothing tips. To make sure a reliable grinding process the required continuous change of the delivery dimension by operating the spindles under visual control of the Spark length determined. For alloyed sets that are used for Grinding no spark pattern can show the necessary change of the infeed dimension by checking the grinding noise be determined. Accordingly, the grinding quality depends when operating known grinding devices of the aforementioned Kind of strong on the skill and experience of the operators and the condition of the slip ring. Also require the known grinders the presence of the Operating personnel during the entire grinding process.

Devices and methods according to the preamble of claims 1 and 14 are known from DE-PS 516 224. In these known devices is used for grinding a card fitting Grinding element against the biasing force of a leaf spring on the stationary card covering, then the leaf spring pressure applied to the card surface and then the card covering together with the grinding element in Moves. Similar devices are also in the US 4,984,395 A indicated, with those described in this document Do not use a pre-tensioning device Leaf spring but exerted by a helical spring becomes.

The problem arises that the card covering at Start of the drum carrying him due to this At the time of increased static friction of a heavy load exposed to damage to individuals Elements of the card covering.

Given these problems in the prior art, the Invention based on the object, the known device to further develop that a set mounted on a carrier while reliably avoiding damage to them can be ground with high accuracy, as well as with specify an executable method of such a device.

This object is achieved by the features of claims 1 and 14 solved. With the arrangement according to the invention can do the grinding with a non-rotating grinding element can be carried out particularly easily by the grinding element in a preparatory step, first applied to the set is then against the biasing force of the biasing device subtracted from the set, the carrier in a circular motion offset, the grinder then towards the set to be machined and the grinding element finally to carry out the actual grinding process released and by the pretensioner against the with the Carrier all-round set is pressed.

The removal of the set can take place over the processing time to be controlled.

With some trimmings, for example with one the reel of a card-wound card, that can be Area to be ground over a distance of more than one meter extend. Such sets can be avoided of the use of an excessively large grinding element if the grinding element during the grinding process along a transverse to the direction of pressure Travel path is movable. To ensure a constant The contact pressure of the grinding element is special useful if the pretensioner together with the Grinding element can be moved along the travel path.

To compensate for unevenness along the travel path or to simplify the delivery of a fixed The grinding element is intended to be the grinding element articulated, preferably via a ball joint, to the To couple the pretensioner.

To ensure an even cut of the Clothing along its entire length, it is particularly advantageous if the grinding element repeatedly during the grinding process is traversed along the travel path. This is the direction of travel expediently during the grinding process End points of the travel path reversible. For this purpose you can for example attached to the end points of the travel path electronic limit switches are used.

The removal of the set to be achieved by grinding can count on the number of traversings of the grinding area can be determined.

It is with regard to occurring along the set Bumps particularly useful if any of these Grinding elements assigned their own prestressing device to which it is preferably coupled in an articulated manner.

To produce a transportable unit the grinding element and the pretensioning device and optionally also the stop element and / or the actuating element expediently arranged on a sled on a Carrier element fixed and along one of the travel determining guide of the carrier element is movable. A such consisting of the carriage and the support member Unit can be easily using appropriate brackets can be mounted on different types of cards and cards.

To align such a device with respect the set to be ground, it is particularly advantageous if the carrier element together with the slide in the Pressure direction is adjustable.

The biasing device of the grinding device according to the invention can be particularly simple in the form of a coil spring be formed. It becomes a particularly compact one Structure reached when the coil spring on the one hand Abrasive element and on the other hand supported on the stop element.

A particularly reliable tracking of the grinding element can be achieved if one of the Guide of the grinding element in the pressing direction serving guide element is provided.

To reduce long traversing paths is also part of it thought of several grinding elements along the area to be ground to attach, each along part of the to traversing area are traversed. Anyone can Grinding element can be assigned its own prestressing device, to which it is coupled, preferably in an articulated manner.

The grinding head 10 has a screw 18 on Carriage 20 fixed floor element 12 and two approximately extending perpendicular to the floor element 12 and with screws 13 or 15 wall elements 14 and 16 fixed thereon. Between the wall elements 14 and 16 is made of a holder 24 and a cuboid grindstone 26 mounted thereon existing grinding element 22 arranged. How particularly clear 2, the wall elements extend 14 and 16 essentially along the guide 52 of the carrier element 50 and overlap those perpendicular to the guide 52 extending side surfaces of the grinding element 22. On this The wall elements 14 and 16 form a guide for the grinding element 22 arranged therebetween.

The grinding element 22 has a bore 11 of the bottom element 12 penetrating and received in the holder 24 Bolt 28 in the indicated by arrow 31 Slidable direction set on the base member 12. The boundary surface of the base element facing away from the grinding element 22 12 forms a stop for the bolt head 29 of the bolt 28 and thus limits the displacement of the Sanding elements 22 in the direction indicated by arrow 31 Direction. This allows the grinding element to be in its rest position be fixed. Between the floor element 12 and the holder 24 of the grinding element 22 is on the one hand on the Grinding element 22 facing boundary surface of the base element 12 and on the other hand on the floor element 12 facing Boundary surface of the holder 24 adjacent biasing device arranged in the form of a coil spring 30. With this biasing device, the grinding element 22 in the biased by the direction indicated by arrow 31. On in this way the grindstone 26 can be traversed Movement of the grinding head 10 evenly against one Set (not shown) pressed and during the Grinding process in the direction indicated by arrow 31 be tracked. The tracking of the grinding element and thus the removal at the clothing tips is determined by the number the traversing of the grinding element over the set certainly.

Before starting the grinding process, the grinding element 22 with one from a first lever 34, a second lever 36 and a connecting the second lever 36 to the bolt 28 Transmission element 33 existing actuator 32 against the biasing force of the coil spring 30 from be removed from the set. The maximum pull-off distance is thereby from a slot 37 penetrating in the second lever 36 and screw bolts 38 accommodated in the wall element 16 limited. This bolt 38 can also, if necessary cooperating with the bottom element 12, as a stop for the Fixation of the grinding element 22 used in the rest position become.

In Fig. 4 is an arrangement for setting the in the 1 to 3 shown grinding device on the frame 60 of Tambours of a card. The arrangement has one Screws 72 on the frame 60 fixed bracket 70. At the Bracket 70, angle profiles 74 are attached to which sled beds 76 are set. In the sled beds 76 are Carrier carriage attached to wing 50 with wing nuts 80 78 added. With the sled beds 76 and the carrier sledges 78 assigned adjustment mechanisms 82, the wearer 50 and thus also the grinding element 22 in the direction of the set 84 of the drum are delivered.

The holder 70 is used to grind the clothing 84 together with the carrier element 50 and the grinding head 10 at stationary drum mounted on the frame 60. The second embodiment shown in FIG The invention is similar to the first explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4 Embodiment. Therefore, in Fig. 5 for the parts which correspond to the parts indicated in FIGS. 1 to 4, uses the same reference numerals. The one shown in FIG. 5 The embodiment of the invention is the grinding element 22, unlike the first embodiment, with a ball joint pin 28a on the base element 12 of the grinding head 10 fixed. For this purpose, the ball joint pin 28a penetrates the Bore 11 of the base member 12, which is the grinding element 22 facing away from the boundary surface of the base element 12 a Stop for the ball joint pin head 29a of the ball joint pin 28a forms, and thus the displacement of the grinding element 22 limited in the direction indicated by arrow 31.

At the opposite of the ball joint bolt head 29a A ball 128 is provided at the end of the ball joint pin 28a, those in a complementary recess 124 of the holder 24 is added. As a pretensioner also in this embodiment, on the one hand on the Grinding element 22 facing boundary surface of the bottom element 12 and on the other hand on the floor element 12 facing Boundary surface of the holder 24 adjacent coil spring 30 used. With the ball 128 and the complementary one Recess 124 made fixing the grinding element 22 on the ball joint pin 28a becomes the grinding element 22 enables a rotary movement indicated by the double arrows 31. With this rotary movement you can move along the traversing path the grinding head 10 occurring bumps be balanced.

The fourth shown in Figs. 6 and 7 Embodiment of the invention has three along the axis of rotation 250 of a cardboard reel arranged side by side Grinding elements 222. Each of the grinding elements 222 is included a penetrating the bottom 212 of a support member 210 Ball joint pin 228 articulated to the carrier element 210. Each of the grinding elements 222 is one for prestressing of the corresponding grinding element 222 in the direction indicated by the arrow 231 designated direction serving coil spring 230 assigned. The coil springs are on the one hand on the corresponding grinding element 222 facing boundary surface of the floor 212 and on the other hand on the floor 212 facing Boundary surface of the corresponding grinding element 222 at.

For processing the clothing wound on the drum are the grinding elements 222 together with the carrier element 210 back and forth along the axis of rotation 250 of the drum traversable, as indicated by the double arrow 202. For this purpose, there is essentially one end of the carrier element 210 extending perpendicular to the axis of rotation 250 of the drum Elongated hole 214 formed in which an eccentric 256 is included. The eccentric disc 256 is eccentric attached to an output shaft 258 of a geared motor 254. In this way, by rotating the eccentric disc 256 with the geared motor 254 that indicated by the double arrow 202 Traversing movement of the carrier element 210 and thus also of the grinding elements 222 are effected.

The carrier element 210 is together with the grinding elements 222 on both sides of the reel and on the card frame mounted feed carriage 278 fixed. By Actuation of knurled screws assigned to the feed slide 278 279, the carrier element 210 and thus also the Grinding elements 222 in the direction of the drum set delivered and subtracted, as by the double arrows 280 indicated.

The carrier element 210 is with respect to the feed carriage 278 in the directions indicated by the double arrow 280 slidable so that it is independent of any actuation the knurled screws 279 are lifted off the set to be ground can be. For this purpose there are 212 of the carrier element at the bottom 210 peeling blocks provided with indentations 282 on both sides of the drum 284 provided. In the peel blocks are about perpendicular to the axis of rotation 250 and approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the slot 214 extending indentations 282 formed, in which eccentrically on a parallel to the axis of rotation 250 extending eccentric shaft 288 attached eccentric discs 286 are included. A lever 290 is rotationally fixed at one end the eccentric shaft 288 mounted. If the eccentric discs 286 with the eccentric shaft 288 in the direction indicated by the arrow 292 Direction from the position shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 are rotated, the carrier element 212 and thus also the grinding elements 222 in the direction indicated by the arrow 294 Direction lifted off the drum set. On in this way, all grinding elements 222 can be easily Rotation of the eccentric shaft 288 simultaneously from the Drum set can be removed. So that becomes one in which explained for the first embodiment of the invention Grinding process enables a similar grinding process at which the grinding elements 222 first by actuating the knurled screws 279 to be delivered until the garnish of Touch the reel, then turn the eccentric shaft 288 with the lever 290 are withdrawn from the set, after which the Tambour is brought up to its production speed and that Carrier element or the grinding head depending on the desired Grinding intensity by a further 0.5 to 1 mm in the direction of the Garnish to be delivered, whereupon finally the grinding shop by releasing the gear motor 254 and releasing the lever 250 is included.

By using several along the axis of rotation 250 of the Drums of abrasive elements 222 arranged next to one another can the drum set with a traverse path of only about 10 mm are completely sanded. You can do this instead of Three grinding elements 222 shown in FIG. 6 are about 20 Grinding elements provided along the axis of rotation 250 of the drum his.
