Vorrichtung zum Wärmebehandeln von durchlaufenden Warenbahnen durch Aufblasen von Heißdampf mit einem als dichte Dampfglocke ausgebildeten Gehäuse, welches mindestens eine Kammer umfasst, ausgestattet mit - einem Gebläse, welches über eine Welle mit einem außerhalb des Gehäuses angeordneten Antrieb gekoppelt ist, - Düsenkästen mit auf die Warenbahn zielenden Düsenöffnungen und - einem Erhitzer, der an Leitungen zum Zuführen von gasförmigen oder flüssigen Substanzen angeschlossen ist, mit einem im Boden des Gehäuses angebrachten Einlaufschlitz und einem ebenfalls im Boden angebrachten Auslaufschlitz und mit Einrichtungen zum Fördern oder Führen der zu behandelnden Warenbahn in Längsrichtung durch das Gehäuse,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Welle (33) und die Leitungen (39) den Boden (7) des Gehäuses (1) durchdringen.
