Claims (2)
- Noise moderating device for used on clay pigeon-type shotguns, adaptable to double-barrel shotguns of all calibres, side-by-side horizontal or vertical barrel arrangement, and consisting of a combination of a tubular encasement (1) which can be fitted on the barrels (3) of the weapon and comprising an annular decompression chamber (10) arranged at the rear of the said tubular encasement, together with a series of internal cross deflectors (5) held by spacers (6), the said tubular encasement in the assembled position on the weapon coinciding exactly with the aiming sight (12) of the shotgun, from which has been previously removed a part in order to retain the original sight of the weapon, capping the barrels (3) for three quarters of their length and being equipped at one end with a centring piece (2) in which are inserted the said barrels, and at the other end a plug (4), an intermediate inner centring part drilled with several holes (9) allowing return of the gases into the decompression chamber (10) and their evacuation through the orifices (11) arranged in the tubular body, the said decompression chamber being situated between the two centring parts (2, 7), around the barrels (3), the plug (4) and the deflectors (5) being each one fitted with an orifice (8) allowing the passage of the projectiles and the packing.
