    1. A device for impregnating a full-width conveyed web of material (1) with a processing liquid,
      comprising a storage container for the processing liquid, through which the web (1) is conveyed along a vertical impregnation section and which is formed by a vertical planar duct (10) having planar sides (5, 5) close beside one another and adapted to be kept filled with processing liquid up to a selectable height and bounded at the bottom end (10') by a flexible sealing arrangement (20) which abuts both sides of the web (1), and
      comprising a pair (30) of nip rollers through which the web (1) is conveyable,
      characterised in that

    2.     14. A device according to claim 13, characterised in that a strip (65) for fitting on to the top end (10") of the planar duct (10) is disposed on the top edge (61) of the bag (60).
    15. A device according to claim 14, characterised in that a connection (66) for inflating the bag (60) is provided on the strip (65).
    16. A device according to any of claims 13 to 15, characterised in that a weighting rod (68) is provided on the bottom edge (62) of the bag.
