- the present invention relates to a dobby for the desmodromic operation of warp frames in weaving looms in which the rocker arms operating the arms of the frames are moved by series of cams of varying profile, one having smaller dimensions than the other one, which are superimposed on one another in the axial direction and act on wheels rigidly connected to said rocker arms and lying in staggered planes, the locus of the points described by the smaller cam always being contained within the locus of the points described by the larger cam.
- Hitherto machines known as "dobbies”
- dobbies have been produced for the control of said alternating movement, said machines using cams which are correlated and arranged alongside or facing each other, with the cam follower consisting of opposition wheels and rocker arms connected to the lever mechanism for operation of the frame.
- These dobbies have some major drawbacks: in fact those dobbies which are based on cams arranged alongside one another have a lower supportable load level since they use only partly the axial space theoretically available for wheel/cam contact. This is due to the fact that in said axial space it is necessary to house the elements for lateral supporting of the wheel hub; moreover, said machines require particular profiles or grids for transverse centring of the wheels with respect to the cams themselves.

- Rotation of the correlated cams 204,205 thus causes rotation of the wheels 208,209 and the consequent pivoting of the rocker arm 207 about the pin 6 so as to pass from a position (Fig. 11) where the frame is lowered to a position (Fig. 12) where the frame is raised.

- the hubs of the wheels 208,209 are fixed to the rocker arm 207 over the surface of contact between hub and rocker arm and that each hub is fixed to the other hub of the same rocker arm over the entire surface of contact between the two hubs and the assembly is such that the axial dimension of the part of the lever of the rocker arm 207 connected to the pin 207a does not have any effect on the axial width which can be used for the wheel/cam contact.

Claims (12)
- Schaftmaschine (1) für den Bandlaufbetrieb von Kettenstühlen (2) in Webmaschinen, umfassend eine Mehrzahl von koaxialen Steuerkurvenelementen (4, 5; 204, 205), die paarweise miteinander gekoppelt sind und in Beziehung zueinander stehen für den in beide Richtungen erfolgenden sicheren Betrieb der Hebelmechanismen (2a) zum Betätigen der Kettenstühle (2) von Webmaschinen, wobei jedem Paar von Steuerkurvenelementen (4, 5; 204, 205) ein Paar Räder (8, 9; 208, 209) zugeordnet ist, die in axial versetzten Ebenen liegen und starr mit einem Schwenkarm (7; 207) zum Betätigen der Arme (2a) der Kettenstühle (2) verbunden sind, wobei jedes Paar von Steuerkurvenelementen (4, 5; 204, 205) gebildet wird durch ein erstes Steuerkurvenelement (4; 204), deren Profilabmessung geringer ist als die Profilabmessung des anderen Steuerkurvenelements (5; 205) des Paares, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Ort der von dem Profil des kleineren Steuerkurvenelements beschriebenen Punkte stets innerhalb des Orts von Punkten verbleibt, die von dem Profil des größeren Steuerkurvenelements beschrieben werden.
- Schaftmaschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede Flachseite des Hebels (7) einen eingelassenen Sitz (7d, 7f) zur teilweisen Aufnahme eines zugehörigen Rads der Räder (8, 9) besitzt.
- Schaftmaschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Räder unterschiedliche Durchmesser besitzen.
- Schaftmaschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Steuerkurvenelement (5) größere Abmessung und das Steuerkurvenelement (4) kleinere Abmessung in Berührung mit dem Rad (8) kleineren Durchmessers bzw. dem Rad (9) größeren Durchmessers stehen.
- Schaftmaschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Räder (8, 9; 208, 209) gebildet werden durch eine Nabe (8a, 9a; 208a, 209a), die starr mit dem zugehörigen Schwenkarm (7; 207) gekoppelt ist, und um die sich ein von den Steuerkurvenelementen betätigter Außenring (8c, 9c; 208c, 209c) dreht.
- Schaftmaschine nach Anspruch 1 und 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Räder (208, 209) einander in axialer Richtung teilweise überlagernd angeordnet sind und starr mit einem Schwenkarm (207) gekoppelt sind, um die Arme (2a) der Kettenstühle (2) zu betätigen, und die Räder (208, 209) ein exzentrisches Loch (208e, 209e) zur Kopplung mit einem Zapfen (6) aufweisen, der sich innerhalb desjenigen Bereichs befindet, in welchem die Räder einander überlagert sind, und an welchem außerdem der Schwenkarm (207) schwenkbar gelagert ist.
- Schaftmaschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Hebel des Schwenkarms (207) aus zwei geformten Profilen (207b, 207c) besteht, die miteinander starr gekoppelt sind und außerdem starr mit einer Seite des ersten bzw. des zweiten Rades (208, 209) verbunden sind.
- Schaftmaschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Räder gebildet werden durch eine Nabe (208a, 209a), um die sich ein Außenring (208c, 209c) dreht, wobei die Nabe starr mit dem betreffenden Schwenkarm gekoppelt ist und mit einem Loch (208e, 209e) ausgestattet ist, welches in Bezug auf die Drehmitte (208d, 209d) des Außenrings exzentrisch ist.
- Schaftmaschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jedes Rad (208, 209) in der gleichen axial rechtwinkligen Ebene liegt, in der auch der das andere Rad (209, 208) lagernde Halbhebel (207c, 207b) liegt.
- Schaftmaschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Radius des mit dem betätigenden Steuerkurvenelement (204, 205) in Berührung stehenden Rades (208, 209) größer ist als der Abstand zwischen der Mitte (208d, 209d) des Rades und der Achse des Zapfens (6) zum Schwenken des Schwenkarms (207).
- Schaftmaschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest eine (208a) der Naben der Räder (208, 209), die starr mit dem Schwenkarm (207) gekoppelt sind, in ihrem Inneren eine Ausnehmung (212a) aufweist, die koaxial mit einer entsprechenden identisch geformten Ausnehmung (212) des zugehörigen Schwenkarms (207) verläuft, vorgesehen zum Einführen einer Exzenterwelle (213), die bei angehaltener Maschine auf Befehl drehbar ist, um hierdurch eine Ausrichtung der Kettenstühle in einer vorbestimmten Stellung zu ermöglichen.
- Schaftmaschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Naben der Räder (208, 209) miteinander über ihre Berührfläche fixiert sind.
