Eine bevorzugt einfache Ausgestaltung einer erfindungsgemäß aus einem Drosselventil 28 und einem Kurzschlußventil 10 gebildeten Zusatzvorrichtung zeigt Figur 5, wobei beide Ventile 10, 28 jeweils tellerartig gestaltet sind. Die beispielsweise auf einem Gehäusefortsatz 29 eines in bekannter Weise über den Steuerstift maschinenseitig abgestützten Dehnstoffelementes schiebebeweglich angeordneten Ventile 10, 28 sind relativ zueinander derart beweglich angeordnet, daß das Drosselventil 28 auf einer am Kurzschlußventil 10 vom Dehnstoffelement abgewandt angeorndeten Führungsbuchse 30 gleitet. Das dem Zulaufkanal 11 zugeordnete Drosselventil 28 weist auf einem kanalwandnahen Teilkreis angeordnete Drosselöffnungen 19 auf, wogegen das Kurzschlußventil 10 demgegenüber radial einwärts nahe der Führungsbuchse 30 angeordnete Durchbrechungen 21 aufweist. Damit ist zur freien Umströmung des Umfangsrandes des Kurzschlußventils 10 über die Durchbrechungen 21 zusätzlich eine gezielte Anströmung des Dehnstoffelementes entlang seines Gehäusefortsatzes 29 erzielt mit dem Vorteil einer schnellen Erwärmung des ein Wachselement beinhaltenden Dehnstoffelementes (nicht gezeigt).FIG. 5 shows a preferably simple embodiment of an additional device formed according to the invention from a throttle valve 28 and a short-circuit valve 10, both valves 10, 28 each being designed in the manner of a plate. Claims (7)

Thermostatventil für den Kühlkreislauf einer Brennkraftmaschine, - bei dem ein Dehnstoffelement (2) ein Hauptventil (3) eines äußeren Kühlmittelumlaufes regelt, und - über den Öffnungshub des Hauptventiles (3) gesteuert ein Kurzschlußventil (10) einen Strömungsquerschnitt einer Kurzschlußleitung (11') des inneren Kühlmittelumlaufes elastisch nachgiebig geführt verschließt, wobei - das gegebenenfalls mit hubverschließbaren Öffnungen ausgerüstete Kurzschlußventil (10) in Offenstellung zur Lenkung einer wirksamen Kühlmittelströmung des inneren Kühlmittelumlaufes auf das Dehnstoffelement (2) dient, dadurch gekennzeichnet, - daß dem Kurzschlußventil (10) eine Zusatzvorrichtung (13; 16, 17; 21 in 10, 19 in 20; 21 in 10, 19 in 28) zur Wirkungssteigerung der auf das Dehnstoffelement (2) gelenkten Kühlmittel-Strömung zugeordnet ist. dadurch gekennzeichnet, - daß die Zusatzvorrichtung ein einen Zulaufkanal (11) der Kurzschlußleitung (11') druckbeaufschlagt elastisch nachgiebig geführt freigebendes Drosselventil (20, 28) mit Drosselöffnungen (19) sowie - im Kurzschlußventil (10) auf das Dehnstoffelement (2) gerichtete Druchbrechungen (21) derart angeordnet umfaßt, daß - das Kurzschlußventil (10) ab einem vorbestimmten Öffnungshub des Hauptventils (3) die Drosselöffnungen (19) des jeweiligen Drosselventils (20, 28) verschließt (Figuren 3, 4, 5).

dadurch gekennzeichnet, - daß ein topfartig gestaltetes Drosselventil (20) der Zusatzvorrichtung in einem der Topfwandung (22) benachbarten Bodenbereich (23) angeorndete Drosselöffnungen (19) aufweist, und - daß das als Tellerventil gestaltete, mit relativ kleinem Umfangsspiel zur Topfwandung (22) geführt angeordnete Kurzschlußventil (10) benachbart einer konzentrisch angeordneten Führungsbuchse (24) vorgesehene Durchbrechungen (21) aufweist (Figur 3).
