  • protective apparel When operating fast moving, relatively open vehicles such as motorcycles, bicycles, and some aircraft, the use of protective apparel is important. However, to be useful, protective apparel must be comfortable enough to wear. Many of the garments commonly used for such applications, such as leather suits and jackets, are unacceptably uncomfortable because they provide poor ventilation. Poor ventilation can be a serious problem during warm or moderate weather.

Claims (10)

  1. Belüftetes Kleidungsstück (100, 400) mit mindestens einem Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) und mindestens einem Rückseiteneinsatz (310), wobei der Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) und der Rückseiteneinsatz(310) jeweils eine darin durch einen Umfang definierte Öffnung (108, 312) aufweisen, wobei der Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) einen luftdurchlässigen Belüftungseinsatz enthält, der Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) ferner ein Abdeckelement (110) enthält, das durch einen Umfang definiert ist und eine Form besitzt, welche im wesentlichen der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung (108) entspricht, wobei ein erster Abschnitt des Abdeckelementumfangs an dem Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) im wesentlichen entlang einem ersten Abschnitt (112) des Umfangs der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung befestigt ist, und einem ersten einstellbaren Verschlußelement (120), welches einstellbar einen zweiten Abschnitt des Abdeckelementumfangs an dem Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) im wesentlichen entlang eines zweiten Abschnitts (114) des Umfangs der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung verbindet, und einem zweiten einstellbaren Verschlußelement (120), welches einstellbar einen dritten Abschnitt des Abdeckelementumfangs mit dem Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) im wesentlichen entlang eines dritten Abschnitts (116) des Vorderseitenöffnungsumfangs verbindet, wobei der zweite Abschnitt und der dritte Abschnitt des Abdeckelementumfangs sich im wesentlichen von gegenüberliegenden Enden des ersten Abschnitts des Abdeckelementumfangs aus erstrecken, und wobei der zweite Abschnitt (114) und der dritte Abschnitt (116) des Umfangs der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung sich im wesentlichen von gegenüberliegenden Enden des ersten Abschnitts (112) des Umfangs der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung aus erstrecken;
       dadurch gekennzeichnet daß:
    der Einsatz im wesentlichen nicht dehnbar ist, eine Form aufweist, die im wesentlichen der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung entspricht, und an dem Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) entlang dem Umfang der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung befestigt ist.
  2. Belüftetes Kleidungsstück (100, 400) nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) oder das Abdeckelement (110) aus einem Material aus der aus Leder oder Vinyl bestehenden Gruppe hergestellt ist, oder der Belüftungseinsatz ein perforiertes Material aufweist.
  3. Belüftetes Kleidungsstück (100, 400) nach Anspruch 1, wobei die ersten und zweiten Verschlußelemente Reißverschlüsse (120) aufweisen.
  4. Belüftetes Kleidungsstück (100, 400) nach Anspruch 1, welches ferner ein drittes Verschlußelement (122) zum einstellbaren Verbinden eines vierten Abschnitts des Abdeckelementumfangs mit dem Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) im wesentlichen entlang eines vierten Abschnitts (118) des Umfangs der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung enthält, wobei sich der vierte Abschnitt des Abdeckelementumfangs im wesentlichen zwischen dem zweiten und dritten Abschnitt des Abdeckelementumfangs erstreckt und wobei der vierte Abschnitt (118) des Umfangs der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung sich im wesentlichen zwischen dem zweiten Abschnitt (114) und dem dritten Abschnitt (116) des Umfangs der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung erstreckt.
  5. Belüftetes Kleidungsstück (100, 400) nach Anspruch 4, wobei das dritte Verschlusselement (123) einen Haken/Schlingen-Verschluß (Klettverschluß) aufweist.
  6. Belüftetes Kleidungsstück (100, 400) nach Anspruch 4, wobei der erste (112), zweite (114), dritte (116) und vierte Abschnitt (118) des Umfangs der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung (112, 114, 116, 118) im wesentlichen die Gesamtheit des Umfangs umfassen.
  7. Belüftetes Kleidungsstück (100, 400) nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Rückseiteneinsatz (310) einen im wesentlichen undehnbaren Belüftungseinsatz aufweist, die an dem Rückseiteneinsatz (310) im wesentlichen entlang dem Umfang der Rückseiteneinsatzöffnung (312) befestigt ist.
  8. Belüftetes Kleidungsstück (100, 400) nach Anspruch 7, wobei der Rückseiteneinsatz (310) ferner ein rückseitiges Verschlußelement (314) zum einstellbaren Verschließen der Rückseiteneinsatzöffnung (312) enthält.
  9. Belüftetes Kleidungsstück (100, 400) nach Anspruch 8, wobei das rückseitige Verschlußelement einen Reißverschluß (314) aufweist.
  10. Belüftetes Kleidungsstück (100, 400) mit mindestens einem Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) und mindestens einem Rückseiteneinsatz (310), wobei der Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) und der Rückseiteneinsatz(310) jeweils eine darin durch einen Umfang definierte Öffnung (108, 312) aufweisen, wobei der Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) einen luftdurchlässigen Belüftungseinsatz enthält, der Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) ferner ein Abdeckelement (110) enthält, das durch einen Umfang definiert ist, wobei ein erster Abschnitt des Abdeckelementumfangs an dem Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) im wesentlichen entlang einer ersten Kurve befestigt ist, und einem ersten einstellbaren Verschlußelement (120), welches einstellbar einen zweiten Abschnitt des Abdeckelementumfangs an dem Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) entlang einer zweiten Kurve verbindet, und einem zweiten einstellbaren Verschlusselement, welches einstellbar einen dritten Abschnitt des Abdeckelementumfangs mit dem Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) entlang einer dritten Kurve verbindet, wobei die zweite Kurve und die dritte Kurve sich im wesentlichen von gegenüberliegenden Enden der ersten Kurve aus erstrecken, und eine vierte Kurve sich im wesentlichen zwischen gegenüberliegenden Enden der zweiten und dritten Kurve distal von der ersten Kurve aus erstreckt, und wobei die erste, zweite, dritte und vierte Kurve einen Umfang ausbilden, welcher im wesentlichen über der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung liegt,
       dadurch gekennzeichnet daß:
    der Einsatz im wesentlichen nicht dehnbar ist, eine Form aufweist, die im wesentlichen der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung (108) entspricht, und an dem Vorderseiteneinsatz (106) entlang dem Umfang der Vorderseiteneinsatzöffnung befestigt ist.
