Claims (7)

  1. Matelas dont la fermeté est réglable par l'usager comprenant un noyau central structuré par deux couches de rembourrage et de capitonnage sur l'une et l'autre face, avec une couche respective de ouatage ou de garniture, où au moins l'une des couches de rembourrage est un corps réticulé (1) à configuration généralement prismatique rectangulaire, dont la structure est basée sur un corps enveloppant laminaire (2, 3, 4) dans lequel sont placées plusieurs cloisons transversales (5) qui définissent des chambres à air adjacentes scellées transversalement et allongées, chaque chambre étant pourvue de ses propres moyens de gonflage de sorte qu'en fonction de la pression appliquée à ces chambres transversales (6) au long du corps réticulé (1), celui-ci présentera divers degrés de fermeté.
  2. Matelas selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les chambres transversales (6) peuvent être divisées en deux par une cloison longitudinale (7), par exemple pour l'utilisation sur lits doubles, de sorte que le gonflage des chambres des deux parties ainsi obtenues après division soient réglables de façon indépendante.
  3. Matelas selon les revendications 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce qu'il est doté d'un équipement compresseur (8), pourvu d'une poche (9) d'air, qui fournit la pression à toutes les chambres transversales (6), par l'intermédiaire des électrovalves (10) respectives, contrôlables une par une et de façon indépendante.
  4. Matelas selon les revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que les chambres transversales (6) peuvent être encadrées en option latéralement et longitudinalement par des boudins pneumatiques (11), dotés de moyens propres de gonflage, qui peuvent s'étendre en option aux zones du corps (1) correspondant à la tête et au pied de lit, ces boudins pneumatiques (11) étant destinés à recevoir une pression d'air substantiellement plus grande que la pression des boudins transversaux (6) en vue de doter les bords du matelas d'une plus grande fermeté, voire de créer des protubérances linéaires supérieures en guise de barres de retenue.
  5. Matelas, selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le noyau central élastique (A) du matelas est constitué de préférence de ressorts, de mousse de polyuréthane, de latex ou d'un noyau d'eau servant de base aux matelas d'eau.
  6. Matelas selon les revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que ce corps réticulaire (1) est intégré au noyau central élastique (A) du matelas pour former un ensemble unique rassemblant les propriétés et les qualités des deux.
  7. Matelas, selon les revendications 1 à 4 et 6 caractérisé en ce que lorsque le noyau central élastique (A) est constitué par des ressorts, les chambres pneumatiques (6) constituant le corps réticulaire (A) sont intégrées au sein des ressorts.
