Description

The invention relates to a table with a cantilever table top, at least one table leg that supports the cantilever, and at least one clamping element.

From French publication 2471164 an immovable wall-mounted wall cabinet is known, the front front of which is designed as a table that can be folded out. The table is hinged out of the wall cabinet. A table leg that can be locked on the lower part of the table top supports the table top on the floor when opened. So that the hinge cannot be overpressed, two holding ropes are attached between the wall cabinet and the front part of the table. US Pat. No. 3,344,755 shows a table which can be folded down from a wall and which is hinged to the wall with a table leg when it is folded down, the table leg itself being fastened to the wall. The table leg is connected to the table with a hinge. Using a device in the wall, the table is folded away hanging on a rope due to its own weight. The rope is attached to the upper end of the table leg. When the table top is pivoted into its horizontal position, it is firmly hinged to the table leg in this position. The table leg is pulled over the rope towards the wall and lock the table top with the wall. The cantilevered tables shown in the prior art have the disadvantage that they are basically articulated on a side wall. They cannot be set up without a side wall.

The object of the invention is to develop a table with a cantilever table top, at least one table leg that supports the cantilever, and a clamping element that can be placed anywhere on the floor.

According to the invention the object is achieved in that at least one clamping element is arranged opposite the projecting part of the table at the end of the table top, which is connected to a floor and / or a ceiling and / or a wall. With this invention, it is possible to set up cantilevered tables anywhere in the room and outdoors. The tables can be arranged in groups of seats, such as those required for conferences will. It is advantageous that the tensioning elements are tensioning ropes and / or tension rods or compression rods. It is useful if the tension cable is led to the ceiling over a deflection roller on the floor. It is advantageous that the table legs are arranged in a guide on the floor. In a further embodiment, the tensioning elements are connected to the floor and / or the ceiling via anchors or by means of Velcro adhesive connections. Another possibility of anchoring is that counterweights are attached to the floor, which are connected to the tensioning elements. It is advantageous that the tensioning elements have a turnbuckle. Fiber composite material is preferably used for the table. It is also appropriate that the clamping elements are carriers of add-on elements. A further embodiment of the invention is that a bracket is attached to the wall of a room or a furniture element arranged on this wall, in which the clamping element or elements are displaceably guided over the length of the bracket, the table leg standing on the floor, or the table leg is slidably arranged in a running plane attached to the furniture element.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the brackets for guiding the clamping element or elements of the table are arranged on an object which is freely located in the room.

Figure 1 shows the schematic representation of a table with a cantilever table top 1. The cantilever length of the table top 1 is from the support by the table legs 2 to the front end of the table top 1. The table is held statically in the usual position by clamping elements 3, the clamping elements 3 between table and floor 6 and / or ceiling 13 and / or wall 12 are arranged. The tensioning elements 3 can be tensioning ropes 4 or tensioning rods 5. As clamping elements 3 they can also be used in combination. In Figure 2, a tension cable 4 is shown, which is anchored in the floor 6 and on the table. For anchoring to the table, for example, a groove 7 is used, which is incorporated opposite the cantilever in the table. In this groove 7, a rod 8 is placed on both sides. The eyelet 9 of the tensioning cable 4 is pushed over this rod 8. The tension cable 4 is connected to the bottom 6 via an anchor 17 screwed into a dowel. Anchoring can also be done with a Velcro adhesive connection. The tensioning rope 4 anchored in the floor 6 and on the table is tensioned via a turnbuckle 10 in order to set up the table in its usual position and to keep it static. The anchoring of the tensioning element 3 in the floor 6 can be replaced by a counterweight 11. FIG. 3 shows the anchoring of the table to the floor 6. On the rear end of the table top 1, tensioning ropes 4 are braced obliquely downward to the floor 6 on the two outer sides. In addition, two tie rods 5 are stretched vertically downwards. In addition to the tensile forces, the tensioning rods 5 also absorb compressive forces which can act on the tensioning elements 3. The extent to which tension rods 5 or tension cables 4 or a combination of both tension elements 3 are used depends on the shape and the intended use of the respective table.
The anchoring of the table with a wall 12 is shown in Figure 4. A bracket 18 is attached to the wall 12 in order to be able to set up the table in a changeable manner. A tie rod 5 is connected to the bracket 18 and the table leg 2. As a result, the table can be adjusted laterally over the entire length of the bracket in the room. If a greater distance is required from the wall 12, a longer tie rod 5 is used. FIG. 5 shows the possibility of anchoring the table to the ceiling 13. The table top 1 is supported by a central table leg 2. The table leg 2 is locked in a guide 15 on the floor 6. Tensioning rods 5 to the floor 6 and tensioning ropes 4 to the ceiling 13 are arranged as tensioning elements 3 from the front side of the table top 1, the tensioning rope 4 being guided to the ceiling 13 via a deflection roller 14 attached to the floor 6. As FIG. 6 shows, the tensioning elements 3 can also be supports for attachment elements 16, such as table lamps. FIG. 7 shows an anchoring of the table in which a pressure rod 19 is firmly connected to the ceiling 13 and to the table top 1. Here, too, add-on elements 16 can be attached to the pressure rod 19. Figure 8 shows an indirect anchoring of the table with the Wall 12 via a furniture element 20 which is fastened to the wall 12 by fixing elements 21. A bracket 18 is attached to the furniture element 20, in which the tensioning cable 4 is held and guided with a table. The furniture element 20 has a running level 22 just above the floor 6, in which a sliding element 23, which is arranged on the table leg 2, engages. The table set up on the tensioning cable 4 on the furniture element 20 can be moved parallel to the furniture element 20, guided in the sliding element 23 and on the bracket 18.
