Abstract

The switch has a bimetallic snap-action disc Ä34Ü that inverts its shape when a set temperature is reached and this is mounted with a metal spring backing disc. The assembly is supported at the edges on a conducting ring Ä23Ü. Located above the assembly is an electrical resistance heating element Ä17Ü and underneath is a bias resistance element Ä43Ü. The bias resistor is connected in series with the switch contacts Ä32,33Ü with the heating resistor in parallel. The circuit is coupled to the input output wires Ä37,39Ü
