Sobald das angehobene Druckereiprodukt 1 von der Seitenfläche 26a der betreffenden Ausnehmung 26 des Förderrades 21 mitgenommen und zum Führungsspalt 33 gelenkt wird, kehrt das von der Unterdruckquelle abgeschaltete Anhebeorgan 10 - dem Druckereiprodukt 1 dabei aus dem Weg ausweichend - entlang der Umlaufbahn 14 in seine Ausgangsposition zurück, um das nächste Druckereiprodukt 1 zu erfassen und in die nächste Ausnehmung 26 einzuführen. Inzwischen wird das Druckereiprodukt 1 aus der Ausnehmung 26 und in den Führungsspalt 33 zwischen die Umfangsfläche 28 des dieser Ausnehmung 26 in Drehrichtung D vorstehenden Radsegmentes 27 und das vorstehende Druckereiprodukt 1 gedrängt und sein Transport beginnt. So wird jedes Druckereiprodukt 1 in eine der Ausnehmungen 26 nacheinanderfolgend eingeführt, wobei der Antrieb des Anhebeorgans 10 synchron zum Förderradantrieb erfolgt. In dieser Weise wird die neue Schuppenformation S2 von Druckereiprodukten 1 gebildet, in der wiederum jedes Druckereiprodukt 1 auf dem nachfolgenden aufliegt und die vorlaufende Falzkante 1a jeweils unten liegt. Dabei bestimmt das Förderrad 21 des Wegförderers 20 mit seiner Umfangsgeschwindigkeit nicht nur die Fördergeschwindigkeit der wegzufördernden Druckereiprodukte 1; auch der Schuppenabstand wird durch das Förderrad 21 definiert und durch den Abstand der Radsegmente 27 (am Umfang des Förderrades 21 gemessen) bestimmt. Die Form der Ausnehmungen 26 ermöglicht, dass die Druckereiprodukte 1 ohne Knicken oder andere Deformation in den Führungsspalt 33 geleitet werden können. In diesem Falle müsste jedoch der Anschlag 4 derart nach links (in Fig. 1 betrachtet) versetzt werden, dass sich die mittels einer Fördervorrichtung 3' in Pfeilrichtung C zugeführten Druckereiprodukte 1 wiederum mit ihrer - diesmal nachlaufenden - Falzkante unterhalb vom Anhebeorgan 10 im Zwischenstapel 5 befinden würden. Das weitere Vorgehen bzw.
